The Republican leadership needs to quit issuing “statements” from the comfort of their office and go on every television and radio station and scream it out loud. No “inquiring mind” in the entire political press corps has mentioned that these appropriations bills were just punted last year.
Our entire government has been operating on “continuing resolutions” since the end of September 2008.
IMAGINE THE CRITICISM if a Republican-led Congress had done this.
IMAGINE the Criticism if a Republican-led Congress had tried to pass a mammoth ‘stimulus’ bill without having the Fiscal 2009 Appropriations passed.
Our Congress and Media are TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL.
