There hasn't been so much hubbub since the New Yorker cover showed then presidential hopeful Barack Obama and his wife Michelle as fist-bumping radicals in the Oval Office.

After seeing that on TV, I went out and bought the Post.
They can have my copy from my ink-stained hands.
People are pissed that SanFran Nan is depicted as a chimp....?
The chimp is referring to the House that wrote the bill, not to Obama who signed it.
Obama wrote the stimulus bill? Seems like to me that only racists are making this connection because it doesn’t occur in the actual cartoon.
Not for nuthin’ but one thing is lost on the American public here.
Probably 99% of Americans don’t know that bills are written in the House. Not by the president, not in the Senate.
A president may want a bill, may even ghost write it, but they’d still have to have a Representatvive introduce it.
In the case of the stimulus bill, Obama let Reid and Pelosi write it behind closed doors. No hearings, didn’t allow changes from the conference committee, nada, zip, zilch, zero. And that’s “zero” with a small “z”, not as in “Zero” meaning Obama.
Get over it, whack left!
Who oo oo oo oo you callin’ a chimp?!
As I posted on another thread:

Associating the president with a chimp is commonly accepted, and has been for eight years.
Indeed here’s a snip from the article:
“The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit, the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington’s efforts to revive the economy,” said Post Editor-in-Chief Col Allan. “Again, Al Sharpton reveals himself as nothing more than a publicity opportunist.”
Why should we doubt him? In fact, I think it’s rather funny.
Next time compare obozo to a baboon and then shoot the baboon.
One of the radical lefts nickname for President Bush was chimp. I guess that’s OK.
Calling Bush a chimp contains no racial baggage.
But seriously, where did the simian vs black person comparison come from?
Why, from the left’s view of man’s development - evolution. If mankind “evolved” from apelike creatures instead of being created, then those with features more similar to apes are clearly less evolved, and therefore less human... hey, it’s just a logical extension.
The cartoon is clearly related to the joke about an infinite number of monkeys banging on an infinite number of typewriters for an infinite time will recreate the great works of Shakespeare.
That is how the stimulus got written.
