One of the inevitable consequences of the last 75 years of Democrat rule in Washington augmented by a decade or more of gutless rule by Republican presidents and congressional majorities who thought they could win hearts and minds by imitating Democrats is a quiet rebellion within that basic building block of our American republic: the state legislatures.

I just emailed my IN State Rep and Senator. Also my Indiana Republican Leader in the Assembly. Also, a few other IN GOP reps. I referenced the article at www.familysecuritymatters.org.
I asked them to assert Indiana state rights ASAP.
The Arizona resolution wording is the strongest and best that I’ve seen.
It lays out the law as the Constitution states it.
It then lays out how the fedgov is violating that law.
Then we get to a demand and what they’re going to do about it.
Very much like the layout of the Declaration.
P.S. Please add me to your 10th Amend. ping list.
Are you kidding?
The federal government has been “down the socialist path” for decades now. Its just now sprinting for marxist.
START to ignore the constitution? Heh... are you under the assumption they haven’t been for MANY years?
States that we can get to pass a bill claiming sovereignty from laws that are counter to the original intent of the constitution should be focused on, don’t waste time with the northeastern states or any other “blue” states.
Once that is in place we need to PUSH for ENFORCEMENT of that law to include EVERYTHING that is contrary to the original intent. Everything... and those states need to begin shielding their citizens from those unconstitutional laws Immediately!
This is the foundation that will provide support for whatever follows. Be it rehabilitating the existing federal government or creating a new nation that is friendly to the original intent to the constitution. While I have very little hope for the former and absolutely no fear of the latter, I think we at least need to get to that point where we have control of our destiny.
Been looking for this all day ping.
Done!
Heh, I had already taken the liberty of adding your name, so, done!
10th amendment sovereignty bump!
Did you notice where TEXAS SLIPPED IN A RESOLUTION today?
BTW, since the 10th Amendment is apparently going to be a fairly hot item for a while, how's about getting the subject in the header or the popular keyword blocks at the top of the forums pages so any newcomers especially can see what's going on???
Yup. And click on “StatesRights” at the top of the page.
Uhhhh, tell me that hasn’t been there..... If new, many thanks. I’ll need to go back and add “statesrights” keyword on some that were only tagged with “10thamendment”. The good news is, they’re easy to find. Bless you!

Looks like OK is well on the way. IF TX and the other gulf states join her (LA, MS, AL), that puts a HUGE amount of energy resources, including refining capacity along with a huge pile of military production facilities within their borders..... A couple more states joining to the north of OK, and that would include a huge portion of food production. I guess if it got ugly, a starving and freezing of pansy-butt queer libs in DC could be undertaken....LOL.

Thence the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution was born, with the intent to protect those rights. The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions of 1798-99 were a series of resolutions passed by the legislatures of these states protesting the Alien and Sedition Acts. The Kentucky Resolutions were drafted by Thomas Jefferson and the Virginia Resolutions by James Madison. They are a democratic protest against what Jefferson, Madison and other Republicans considered to be a dangerous usurpation of power by the federal government. The Kentucky Resolution of 1799 was the most radical of the resolutions and asserted that states had the power to nullify the laws of the federal government.
