SNIPPET: “A woman was arrested on terrorism charges in Williams Thursday after police say she rammed her truck into a fuel tanker and tried to blow up the fuel storage tanks.
According to information from the Williams Police Department, officers responded to a Circle K gas station on the 200 block of West Route 66 on a call that a woman had rammed her truck into the tanker. The driver of the tanker had been unloading fuel at the time. Officers and the fuel truck driver wrestled the woman to the ground before she could ignite the fuel storage tanks through the open hatch with a cigarette and a lighter.”

She sounds crazy or very, very drunk, IMHO. I think they sometimes throw the word “terrorism” around a little too casually. Terrorism refers to an act intended to force the acceptance of a political or other system, not just any random act by a nutcase.

I was just commenting that sometimes I think the word “terrorism” is used very loosely (probably to minimize its political or Islamic implications when it actually IS an act of terrorism).
I understand; however women are being used for terrorism globally.
That’s why I said I’ll post updates as they come in later today.
Maybe more details will clarify the situation.

Actually — this is unusual in that, when there is the possibility of a *real* act of terrorism, the first words out of gummint’s collective mouth is “Terrorism not suspected.”
Apparently what makes this person a ‘terrorist’ is that she “Threatened to kill Obama”....

Obviously a product of American geography class, I think Obama might be found around Washington, DC, unless he was holding a press conference at Williams, AZ at the Circle K. Democrat off meds?
I agree with you. This is not terrorism, this is a crime. I suspect we will see a big push by the politicos and the media to associate terrorism with criminal activity. that way when America does suffer another 9/11, or it captures some bad guys, then they have cover for NOT responding in a forceful military manner...after all, “it’s just a crime...”
Doesn’t sound like terrorism to me.
Sounds like a fruitcake woman in a rage, doing a spontaneous and stupid act. Terrorism would imply premeditation, which is clearly not the case here.
Lock her up in a fruit & nut farm for a few years.

I think I heard on the news last night that he is headed here to Arizona sometime this week...
