The Winchester House in CA....went there several times as a kid. Stairs to nowhere, door opens and you fall down a floor, teeny tiny stairs. Mrs Winchester kept building and building and building.

You know what really struck me was the scale of the building.
We must have all been smaller in stature at that time!:)
The glass & woodwork are so beautiful aren’t they?!
My son lived near that place and yet we never did get to
go see it. Rats! I would have liked to have seen what
she did with the place! LOL!
