Conservative Civil Disobedience

If enough people break a small and oppressive regulation, something will have to be done at the government level. Think Tea Tax and Boston Harbor. Right now the inmates are running the asylum that is America (and Canada, as referenced by Steyn). It’s time for us to revolt. If our phonecalls and pleas to representatives are falling on deaf ears, then we have to do something to make them take notice. No, not bombing a federal building in Oklahoma City. But how about the equivelent of what Mr. Steyn and Ms. Shaidle do every day? They ridicule the rules, post over-the-top and “offensive” articles, and make people laugh at the absurdity of silencing thought and opinion.

Better check the counterfitting laws. You might have a problem scanning real fed currency.

Buy under the table when you can.

When a government/banking system is incompetent, wasteful and corrupt, the citizens resort to an underground economy and a black market mentality. Either that or they leave the country.

The global economy has created complicated challenges which exceed the problems of the pre-1930's depression and subsequent market regulation. Wild swings in the market, etc. In short, imho, no knows what they're doing.

You don’t need a stamp. Use your printer and print on the bill anything you want to say. Print “Geitner Is A Tax Cheat” right over the sig that’s there now. I wouldn’t use red ink. I would use a green ink to blend in unnoticeable in order to get as many into circulation as possible.

That's a very BAD idea - don't use a printer. A printer can be tracked, but I think you know that already.

For married couples with kids, the biggest thing that you can do is to go single-income. Have one stay home, cook meals at home instead of going out, etc. When you add up costs for eating-out or having to bring home prepared meals, day care for kids, having an extra car to commute to work, etc, etc, the second income generally doesn't really contribute that much.

Going one-income reduces the amount you pay in taxes, and reduces the employment of Democrat-supporters.

We Want a Divorce.

In other words... Democrats wanting massive bailouts has Republicans wanting to bail out en masse.

Sleuths Crack Tracking Code Discovered in Color Printers

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/18/AR2005101801663.html

It sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it isn’t. The pages coming out of your color printer may contain hidden information that could be used to track you down if you ever cross the U.S. government.

Last year, an article in PC World magazine pointed out that printouts from many color laser printers contained yellow dots scattered across the page, viewable only with a special kind of flashlight. The article quoted a senior researcher at Xerox Corp. as saying the dots contain information useful to law-enforcement authorities, a secret digital “license tag” for tracking down criminals.

I simply don’t agree with the concept.

I'm not going to argue with you. I agree with you. I'm just pointing out the position the IRS takes.

That was going to be one of my subversive acts, except I am planning on claiming Hispanic for our family, because my great grandmother came to the USA from Barcelona. Same result, but hey I like your reasoning, so we may be of mixed race as of the census...

For my state, buy a cheap but reliable car so as to lessen property tax revenue. (I live in South Carolina), and I have yet to give up my terrific 98 Oldsmobile Intrigue that only costs me $93 in prop tax. (Still runs great!)

Yes, I have two old cars, both run great, the only problem is that the states, particularly CA, are trying to outlaw old cars in various ways. Until they do I will drive old cars and keep them running. 1980 TR7, runs really good, and 1974 VW beetle. Both great cars and old, good mileage with both.

Please give some thought to claiming ‘hispanic’. That’s one of our problems...illegal aliens get counted in the census, then congressional districts are fitted to ‘represent’ them.
They have more than enough ‘representation’.
