Didn't see this posted; just more crap along the lines of HR 45; except for the children.

2 Things stood out... Adults, like my friend's father can no longer lend fire arms so the kids can go shooting; like happened when I was a kid. Also, no more rifles with mags for kids... so does this mean a 10/22 can't be handled by a kid? Or, a mini 14 too?

Seriously, in pre 1968 there were kids going to range practice with their 22s, on the subway, in NYC.

Very overt plan to remove any gun related sports from our youths experience.

Alternate site with commentary if linky doesn't work (I have HORRIBLE luck with Thomas).

Not to distract from porkulus.

No distraction. According to NH proposed bill, this law would be void. Overreaching into states rights. I hope the NH bill goes forward....

First person prosecuted can demand to see O’s BC and will have to serve it up or the defendant will have to go free. See Dr. Edwin Vieira web site.

With the laws that exist, I won't let the grandkids into the house unless they are strapped in a car seat. I go visit. They can't.

The whole concept of modding some 10-22s for the boys here in Texas goes out the window with this.

I've given up on the grandson in California. He should have had at least a Chipmunk by now.

If the true goal was firearm safe handling we should begin teaching it in grade school

"REQUIREMENT THAT CHILD BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT DURING A GUN SHOW"

LOL! All you can do is laugh at this. Hilarious!

I just ordered another magazine for my Springfield XDm 9. Since it holds 19 rounds, I’m sure it will be outlawed soon. I was glancing at holster company websites. Most are backlogged six months with new orders.

The resolution introduced to the NH legistlature was composed and submitted by some of the remnant of patriots that remain in NH. But because the state has been overrun with RAT transplants from neighboring states, the resolution has ZERO chance of passing the RAT controlled legistlature, ZERO chance of being signed by the RAT governor, and ZERO chance of being upheld by the RAT dominated State Supreme Court.

Tomorrow, Feb 11, 2009, we are going to the NH capitol in Concord to protest and testify against two bills filed by a foaming RAT legislator that will transform NH into one of the most anti-homeschooling states in the nation. If it makes it through the committe, the RAT legislature will pass it, and the RAT governor will sign it, and the RAT State Supreme Court will uphold it.

In that case, homeschooling in NH will be on the ropes.

It will take an act of God to defeat this tyranny.

Pray for us.

"Most are backlogged six months with new orders"

That's the case with just about EVERYTHING these days.

If someone had some money to invest and get started, a small shop making mags and ammmo would make a small fortune right now.

Well I suppose this means the author of this shit wouldn’t approve of my giving my just-turned 17 year old son an AK for Christmas.

(Just received a spare steel magazine from A.I.M. Surplus. Russian made and looks like it has hardly ever been used. $15 for 30-rounder.)

Prayers up for you. I homeschooled for a while til hubby needed me to help with our company. If they wont listen to your pleas, bring your guns. Lets get this thing started already. Enough trampling rights and our kids futures. What the hell are we educating them for? To carry this unbelievable tax burden we are letting these crooks pass? Now is the time! Fight!

Let me guess - this is another one of their specious exercises in “regulating commerce among the several states”.

My 7yr old shoots my old 22 bolt gun all of the time, and can bust clays at 50yds. I bought the gun myself in 1964 (I was 7) with money I saved from mowing lawns and other odd jobs.

There is one part of this bill that looks OK. Probably just a carrot though.

SEC. 8. EDUCATION: NATIONWIDE FIREARMS SAFETY PROGRAMS.

These new infringements will have to be enforced and woe until anyone who tries.

I took my nephew shooting many times when he was younger and should my brother or sister have any more munchkins, I’ll do the same for them.

There is nothing she’sa jackass-lee or anyone else is going to do that will change that.

No, it will take about 500 pissed off parents storming the halls of the legislature yelling and complaining VERY loudly. THAT will scare the crap out of them.

Very overt plan to remove any gun related sports from our youths experience.

And you have hit the nail on the head. Prevent kids from building up an affinity and respect for firearms by completely taking the opportunity away, and they will grow up believing the junk the public schools and the socialist program them to think.

This even has far-reaching impact on the cause of the enviro-nazi tree-huggers - because youth that don't start off with firearms and hunting are far less likely to take it up as an adult. Thus also reducing the eventual number of hunters - pleasing the PETA-heads, and taking away another liberal misunderstanding of firearms ownership - hunting. Less hunters means less need for firearms.

The downward spiral has turned into a free-fall nose-dive.

Does Ms. Jackson-Lee of Texas (who looked at a pic of Mars and asked, Where’s the flag the astronauts put up there?-I think it was she-correct me if I’m wrong) know how old the young men and women who go into the armed forces are?

I'm worried they'll try "one day" to claim home school homes a school zone
and force a gun free zone at, and surrounding the home.
