What on earth are they voting on in the senate right now? Motion to table Charlie Rangels Allegations? WTF? Guess it must be good to be the king, or in his court, or am I missing something??
Looks as though 202 democrats and 4 repubs voted to TABLE this issue. O democrats and 139 repubs voted not to so far. Sure, just one more tax cheat going about the peoples business while they strap us with the most humongous debt ever known in history. Eagles.......UP!
WOW. Just WOW.
Typical of Tax Cheating Democrats...
Only honest hard working people get hurt when their plans come full circle.
The Lazy, ignorant and Illegal make up a huge portion of the voting block...
Middle Class hardworking people suffer.
Mea Culpa, I wrote senate, its the house.

<<Draft? Rangel has propsed draft for past couple years to promote “racial fairness” etc.
HOLY CASH COW!
Who brought about this motion? And, who are the six R yeas.
Who is John Galt, and what is he doing now?
Don’t know, just caught they were voting, it was live, and so I stayed tuned. Saw what they were voting on, and OMG, just blew my mind!
I am still trying to figure out what is going on. But by the time I do it will be all over, LOL!
Can you elaborate on what is going on?

??????
For those who don’t know, a vote to TABLE a bill is a vote to essentially postpone a bill long enough for it to die a natural death, without having to go on record as voting against it.
Repubs are voting no because they want the world to see how insane Rangel is, and to have a chance to kill it once for all.
Would someone fill in a little clarification/details please? Clueless here sort of;/
Why are they all screaming on the floor???
me too. That is why I posted. I know he was having tax issues, not sure what they were voting to table, it just said allegations of Charlie Rangel. Was hoping this group would be able to answer? What did I miss, that was why I asked if I was missing something. It was very partisan for the vote, and the pubbies were very against tableing it.

Bills are generally sent to the Library of Congress from the Government Printing Office a day or two after they are introduced on the floor of the House or Senate. Delays can occur when there are a large number of bills to prepare or when a very large bill has to be printed.
“Motion to suspend the Rules...”
Now, the RULES ARE SUSPENDED (thus, the hammer spoke).
Thank YOU! I know he has tax cheat issues, and other legal issues, and I know that they have to do procedures to expel a rep, was not sure if they were doing something quietly with all the hoo haa going on with the stimulous bill for smokescreening or what. Every time I see that mans name I get suspicious, especially in a Dem controlled house.
Is it standard procedure to have no information available on the bill? See my post #16.
Could it be this?
