I hope it’s true, but the way elections go world wide now wouldn’t surprise me one bit if ACORN somehow managed to get Ahmud Imanutjob elected PM of Israel.

I guess we’ll just have to wait until they count the votes.

He spoke with Avigdor Lieberman, so yes odds are good he will be named Prime Minister soon.

About an hour ago I was listening to Michael Medved interviewing his brother who lives in Jerusalem. He said Bibi will be the winner.

Awesome. Finally some good news.

If Bibi wins he will become the leader of the Western world in the fight against Islamofascism.
And Obama will evolve to become Bibi's greatest enemy.
I support Bibi.

He did “lose” (as in the other party got more votes) but governments are formed by coalitions.
For example, if the US had 4 parties and the vote breakdown was as follows:
Democrats: 24
Republicans: 23
Conservatives:15
Liberals:10
You could say that Republicans “lost” but when you add up Republicans and conservatives they have more votes and therefore will form the government.
Hope that analogy makes sense.

Netanyahu told his supporters in a speech early Wednesday that he was proud of the gains by his hardline party. Yes, I'm sure he said "hardline party." Leave it up to AP. They can't help but editorialize.

Kadima won the most seats in the election, however, 64 of the 120 parliament seats were won by right-wing parties, so it’s very possible that Netanyahu may become Prime Minister even though he came in second because Livni, who leads Kadima, may not be able to form a coalition government.
