WASHINGTON – The Obama administration promises sweeping changes in American foreign policy, and some U.S. adversaries are nibbling the bait.

Vice President Joe Biden hit most of the right notes in his Munich speech this weekend, declaring — among a long list of initiatives — Washington's readiness to push the "reset button" with Russia, talk with rather than browbeat Iran and revitalize the bruised NATO alliance.

U.S. troops are leaving Iraq. A more nuanced Afghan policy is in the works. President Barack Obama won't rest without progress on an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal.

At the 45th Munich Security Conference on Saturday, Biden painted the global landscape in new colors, drawing stark contrasts with the Bush administration, which had alienated many American friends and deepened animosity among its enemies.

"The U.S. administration sent a very strong signal, and the signal was heard," Russian deputy prime minister Sergei Ivanov said Sunday.

A new foreign policy shift that involves dead Isreali and US citizens. Look carefully at your kids when you tuck them in at night. In a year or two you might find them blown to bloody shreds from a Palestinian suicide bombing.

We will begin moving troops into all of the break away republics and retake Poland by June!

Huh...yeh

The Bush administration was guided by the blunt view that America was the only superpower — after the collapse of the Soviet Union — and had the economic resources and military strength to insist that Washington’s will be done.

No, I believe the Bush Administration KNEW that America IS the only superpower and of the danger if America wavered. These ignorant dolts now in charge of Washington, think we can talk and appease our way and make peace with those that wish to do us harm. So delusional.

Biden is one gaffe away from being sent to hibernation. Watch OB’s face when he and Biden have a joint appearance and Biden is at the mic.

The Clinton Carter policy all wrap up in one steaming pile of crap.I was watching the history channel doc on President Reagan and they had a shot of a young Al Gore railing against Reagan’s way of dealing with Russia. And I thought man these guys all through out history have been proven wrong over and over again yet they just can’t or wont do what it takes to protect this great country.
