From crisis to catastrophe. Off a cliff. Dark, darker, darkest. Mortal danger of absolute collapse. Armageddon.
President Obama and top Democrats on Capitol Hill are deploying these and other stark predictions of doom and gloom to push through their economic-stimulus package. In terms not heard in Washington since the late 1970s under President Jimmy Carter's watch, the new president has sought to terrify Americans into supporting the $800 billion-plus bailout bill.

What did people expect from a man who never even presided over the PTA or even managed a store? (Oh, yeah! He's gonna pay their mortgages and buy their gas at the pumps! I forgot.)
No shinning city on a hill huh? This will bite him in the butt.
Its like the man is selling a timeshare. It has to be done NOW!
I think it was physically impossible for any house members, or even their staffs, to read the bill before they voted.
High pressure sales pitch - walk out!
This rush to spend our great grandchildren’s income is so phony. The recession will still be there in March. The bailout (which was sold to us as loans that would be paid back with interest so we should actually make money on the TARP) can wait. Are there any Dems in the House or the Senate with a conscience??? Please step back from this money giveaway and consider what you are doing! You may not care that you are indenturing our descendants BUT I DO! Knock it off! Take some responsibility for the future of our country!!
I’ve seen him compared to Carter three times today.
I agree. I don’t want my grandchildren stuck paying for a package that was passed, and not even read. This ‘empty-suit’ hasn’t even been in office a month, and is already MUCH worse than Jimmah Cah-tah! At least the MSM is exposing him - a little bit at a time.
I wish I could see that lady that was so Obamagasmic, that he was going to be her President, and pay her mortgage and gas at the pump! A LOT of people are going to be in for a BIG shock - very soon, I’m afraid.
Carter didn’t start getting these comparisons till near the end of his term (I think, memory is foggy). President Unicorn is getting them a couple weeks after his coronation.
who are the real fear mongers?
I remember the preachings of the Jehovas Witnesses that prophesied Armageddon in 1975, I was just a kid in the 60’s and I recall vividly my friends that were in that belief and how it brainwashed them.
Yup so much for Hope?!
If Americans didn’t vote for 0bama for president the cities would burn. Now if the congressmen don’t vote for his porkulus bill we will have financial armageddon.
“who are the real fear mongers?”
The marxist democRats. The declining economy is what got them in the presidency and control. A crisis of their own making. Timed perfectly in an election year.
President Odooma is an empty suit. The real people behind this socialist take over are behind the scenes.
Starting with the vault keeper guarding Odooma’s birth certificate.
I can just picture President Bush...........laughing his a$$ off at his ignorant replacement and yet feeling sad about the dangerous direction this country “he so loved” is headed for!
CBO anticipates current recession will last until the second half of 2009. CBO said the House and Senate bills will help in the short term but result in so much government debt that within a few years they would crowd out private investment, leading to a lower Gross Domestic Product over the next 10 years than if the government had done nothing. CBO estimates that by 2019 the Senate legislation would reduce GDP by 0.1 percent to 0.3 percent on net.
$1,000,000,000,000 = $1 trillion
$ 712,500,000,000 = $1 million/day for 2,000 yrs
“President Odooma is an empty suit.”
Is that Odooma or ODuma? LOL
You Tube clip - Florida voter estatic that because of “O”, she won’t have to worry about her mortgage or gas at the pumps:
