The Southern California woman who gave birth to octuplets last week told TODAYs Ann Curry in an exclusive interview that growing up as an only child, she had always dreamed of having a huge family. She also denied charges that she was irresponsible to have so many babies especially with six other children already at home.

After an entire generation were indoctrinated with the notion that they are entitled to everything they want the nanosecond they want it, and somebody else will pay, what else would you expect?
10.5 hrs a day holding the 14 kids
I have a better chance of being the first American pope than this gal being able to go to school with 14 kids....
Suleman: “I need a babysitter tonite...I have a class...
Babysitter: “By the way...how many kids do you have”
Suleman: “oh, just 14”
Babysitter: “CLICK”
She better hope she gets that 2 million from whoever...or it will be welfare checks for a loooong time
Wanting a big family means 5-6 kids not two litters of them.
First impression...she’s an Angelina Jolie wannabe.
I feel sorry for all those kids.
Jonathon Swift had a modest proposal about this.
Without the money, nannies or Brad.
She is the walking, talking, embodiment of the welfare queen and as far as the doctor who irresponsibly implanted all of those embryos, let him or her foot the bill.
I can’t WAIT for the pendulum to swing back again and ‘conventional’ is MARRYING a man, having 2-3-4 or more kids with that SAME man, staying married until one of you dies and raising your kids up to be healthy, happy, productive PRODUCERS and not TAKERS.
A girl can dream, can’t she? ;)
Some girls just dream of having a pony
.....I heard that the doctor involved in this now faces a board of inquiry from his peers...the peers are worried that this guy has brought a boat load of negative attention to their profession....this kind of stuff can jeopardize their reputation/income.
Agreed 100%. If doctors knew that there would be severe consequences to some of the ethical decisions they made, we'd be seeing less of this. I see nothing wrong with imposing the same requirements on people who want IVF as those that exist for prospective adoptive parents.
Or looks.
Ya seen photos of this pig?
I've seriously begun to wonder if the only way to achieve this goal is to simply offer people on welfare money to get spayed or neutered (and yes I used those words on purpose). I've always believed it should be a requirement to get onto welfare but sadly the votes don't exist to make that happen. But there's nothing stopping us from acting privately to pay such people money to be sterilized. Over time, we'll see the numbers of useless people decrease and we can once again be a society that values producing things, hard work, and responsibility.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is a hater.LOL!
That's a great line and so sums up the liberal mentality.
But to sum it up even better, how about this:
Anyone who THINKS is a hater.
Does this chick thing she's unique? I'm an only child. I have two kids of my own now.
Some people can have dozens of children and provide them with all of the love and attention they require. Others are emotional basket cases with no prospect of being able to raise one child, never mind 14.
She is the walking, talking, embodiment of the welfare queen and as far as the doctor who irresponsibly implanted all of those embryos, let him or her foot the bill. You are so right. There should be a class-action suit brought on behalf of the taxpayers and this crud "doctor" should pay through the nose for his/her actions.
