I'm at my breaking point..the point where you have to do something...just for your own sanity if nothing else. I think we need to get with some other groups, Grassfire and Resistnet and put together a March on Washington. I think the person to put the word out is Rush, and we'll do the rest....Who would be in with this?
How about a recall on the Senators who folded? If nothing else, but to make their lives miserable.
Ya really think it’ll help.....I don’t.
Why not? Isn’t that how things get done? Remember the Boston Tea party? So what do you want to do, sit around and bitch and moan?
As are most of FR. There was a thread earlier today about a "Million Gunowner March". Ted Nugent agreed to lead the way. Maybe we should start there. We have to protect the 2nd Amendment first, otherwise we have no way to defend the rest of the Bill of Rights.
And I predict that Hussein will be another Jimmy Carter...”one & done!”
Semper Fi,
Kelly
Then make another suggestion.
And by all means, set up your tax withholding so that dot-gov gets as little as possible through the year. Don't let them use YOUR money interest-free. Drop it as low as you can without being penalized.
The left wants to sink the ship - lets help them.
Obama will just have us all shot if we do that.
The pro-lifers turn out by the hundreds of thousands in Washington every January. It isn’t even in the news.
Marches on Washington are as successful as the press wants them to be.
Look up more of our efforts at Righttokeepandbeararms.com.
Shoot back.
If Rush shows up, if Hannity shows up, if Conservative leaders show up, THEY’LL HAVE TO COVER IT.
The Fairness Doctrine is where I want to make my stand. I feel that once they take our voice away, it’s over. I also feel that a one day march wouldn’t do it , it would have to be converging on Washington and refusing to go home.
I'm with you Hildy. But as Rush goes, he can not be seen as the driving force. It would jeapordize his "entertainment" status. Once the march is planned, and nearing it's date (and mentioned briefly before) is when Rush can give a great boost and get the call out louder than other sources that will also make the call.
The bottomline is Rush is on our side but he can't become an official sponsor, if you will, without creating some legal avenue for the Dems to call it a contribution in-kind. I know, I know, from Hollywood to academia to MSM, etc. they all are essentially in-kind contributions for the Left but you know the reality we deal with.
I am telling you though that I could honestly envision a 5 to 10 million person march that would dwarf anything DC has ever seen and it would cause more than just a few liberal heart attacks along the way, it would change the course of American history.
Media offices should be one of the first places for protesters to gather. Trust me, they will cover it then.
I agree..I’d sleep in the street...I’m not kidding..it’s time...And as far as Rush goes...entertainment? Everything in his life has led to this moment. He can change history...if he wants to. I don’t understand what you’re talking about, contribution...he’d be organizing people..this would have nothing to do with Republicans..SCREW THEM ALL.. I’m sick of just about all of them.
How about ten million? Twenty million?
Too many of us cannot get to Washington or cant afford to go. Not strategically wise to all gather in the same rain barrel.
Monday morning July 6th.
Millions of gun owners fill the streets surrounding the nearest Federal office building or Courthouse. Concealed carry or empty holster, pitchfork or axe handle. All legal and a lot more visible. spokespersons and video bloggers at each location.
Should happen this year not next. 2010 will be too late.
oh, please. If you cared enough, you’d get the money to go...you’d figure out a way to go.
