Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) 0n February 6, denounced an Executive Order signed by President Obama that repeals Executive Order 13202, that prohibited federal agencies and recipients of federal funding from requiring contractors to sign union-only project labor agreements (PLAs) as a condition of performing work on federal and federally funded construction projects.
“Today’s decision to repeal Executive Order 13202 opens the door to waste and discrimination in federal and federally funded construction contracts,” said ABC President and CEO Kirk Pickerel. “This action removes the safeguards that prohibited discrimination based upon union affiliation in the awarding of federal contracts.

Obama owes the unions bigtime. He wouldn’t be in the Oval Orifice without the help of the union thugs.

I do not understand why the unions are upset. Perhaps I’m missing something. After all, the millions of $$$$$ they gave to the Demoncrats insured the election of THEIR candidate (didn’t it?). Boy—some people.
It’s not the unions that are gonna be upset — it’s the contractors.
Actually all we have to do is tell people that it discriminates against illegal aliens and he will change it.
And he just screwed them royally by taking out the "Buy American" clause from the stimulus package. He'd better deliver Card Check to them.
Of course, I'd like nothing better than to watch Obama thumb his nose at the unions, much the same way he's telling the press to back off and leave him alone.
Wouldn't that be sweet! I could back him on that!
I thought that repealing an Executive Order that was already on the books had a process to go through and you cannot just repeal them. Guess the rules are different for ZERO.

What does Obama care about higher costs to the taxpayers? He is prepared to spend us into bankruptcy and then claim that more government spending and more taxes are the ONLY answer.
