I've tried both Boxer and Feinstein, but get nothing but busy signals or "mail box full" messages. That's a good sign. That means citizens are burning down their switchboards. But they also have forms on their websites to send messages. Click the link above to contact your senators.
Here is the message I sent to both of my senators:
Please vote no on the pork package. If you want to stimulate the economy, stimulate business investment and hiring and give people more money to spend NOW, cut the taxes. Cut business and investment taxes. Cut the payroll tax. Cut the personal income tax. Don't burden us or our children with trillions of dollars in crippling new debt. You cannot tax, borrow and spend your way into prosperity. The Chinese are going to eat your lunch! Scratch that. They've already eaten your lunch. They're now eating your home!
Regards,
Jim Robinson
I heard on FOX news that Feinstein is actually considering voting no. Now is the time to call. Put the pressure on and keep it on! The people do not want this trillion dollar boondoggle! Time for the senate to get a taste of the wrath of the people!!
Call Gillebrand - DC Phone: 202-224-4451
Senator Warner (D) VA sent me a form letter,
Senator Webb (D) did not reply.
Working hard, preserving American jobs, yada yada yada......
Yeah! ;)
Got through to Collins here in Maine after quite a bit of dialing, told her to stop negotiating and just vote no.
I’ve got Stabenow and Levin. I’ve contacted Stabenow in the past and she answered. She responded with Karl Marx’s talking points, but she answered...
Done.
I GOT THROUGH! Yippee SKIPPY!!!
According to the nice lady I spoke with, Sen. Feinstein IS NOT SURE THIS IS THE WAY TO GO.........She’s concerned that w/the problems CA already has and this may NOT BE THE WAY TO GO!
CA! Get OFF your butt’s and CALL HER OFFICE!!!!
Hey! I know you! :)
Kay Bailey Hutchison’s office in San Antonio said “She has indicated she will vote against the bill.” YeeHaw! Go Texas!
Woo hoo!! If we can knock of Feinstein, it’ll be a big hit on B. Hussein’s socialist plans for us!!
Keep the pressure on!!
Hey! Thanks, Dude!
BTW....when I called, all they asked for was my zip code.
Be creative y’all.........
thanks for the thread, this is one of the reasons why I still own a FAX machine becuse in instances like this, I can write my note or brief letter and FAX it at night where I don’t encounter any busy signals.
And, another added benefit, I get a letter back from my representative with a signature on it. This came in handy once when my congressman wrote to me, on an abortion matter, and stated that he was pro-choice. The next time I noticed that he was going to a Catholic Church event, I copied the letter and put it in the hand of the pastor. The congressman was never allowed to speak there.
Is there an internet site that lists all the e mail addresses of the senators and members of congress? I don’t like using web forms.
Sound good Jim. I’d sure love to see that.
I just called Jim Webb’s office: 1-866-507-1570
Just pick a city from VA and tell them you’re FirstName LastName from City X and you don’t want the pork/stimulus bill to pass.
Why would Kyl be a concern? I heard him speak earlier today and he was quite against it.
Go People. Defeat Porkulus Bump!!!!!
Ammo. I’m just giving him more ammo. The more calls, emails and letters he gets, the more ammo he has.
