I've tried both Boxer and Feinstein, but get nothing but busy signals or "mail box full" messages. That's a good sign. That means citizens are burning down their switchboards. But they also have forms on their websites to send messages. Click the link above to contact your senators.
Here is the message I sent to both of my senators:
Please vote no on the pork package. If you want to stimulate the economy, stimulate business investment and hiring and give people more money to spend NOW, cut the taxes. Cut business and investment taxes. Cut the payroll tax. Cut the personal income tax. Don't burden us or our children with trillions of dollars in crippling new debt. You cannot tax, borrow and spend your way into prosperity. The Chinese are going to eat your lunch! Scratch that. They've already eaten your lunch. They're now eating your home!
Regards,
Jim Robinson
I heard on FOX news that Feinstein is actually considering voting no. Now is the time to call. Put the pressure on and keep it on! The people do not want this trillion dollar boondoggle! Time for the senate to get a taste of the wrath of the people!!
Re: "Stimulus" bill.
Sen Levin,
This is ridiculous. How is spending money we don't have on things we don't need going to help? It's going to make things worse. Why not give that money directly back to the people? Then you'll see real economic activity. VOTE NO ON THIS PORK LADEN MONSTROSITY!
Thanks!
I can’t get through to any of my two senators offices. Either fast busy or straight to voicemail... which is full.
Emails on the way to Specter and Casey.
Not that I expect anything positive from it.
Feinstein’s email from me done.
Thanks!
What (pay-for-play) deal is Arlen Specter getting? Does it have to do with Ginsberg’s SC replacement?
Please feel free to call or write the office nearest you, or you can visit one of the offices between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. We are here to serve you.

Hmmmmmm......phone lines are busy!
Anyone know the polling numbers on this spending bill?
All I have heard is that support is falling from 38% approval...anyone?
What is the deal with this Colliins from Maine. She wants to cut 100b because that is the number Zero wants. 100b in cuts not even a good start.
She must have felt Crissy’s tingle when talking to zero.
I got through. Gave them what for (nicely LOL).
email Senator Amy Klobuchar (D- MN)

Vote NO on Stimulus and Demand a clean Stimulus bill, or the House will put their irresponsible spending back in at committee
phone

and now they have me on hold
Consider it done Jim....
But I’m in Wisconsin....
Help!!!
You may not be able to influence him, but you sure can annoy the heck out of some staff worker.
I got through to my erstwhile Sen. Foghorn Dodd. His twerp sarcastically replied, “Don’t worry, be happy”!
email Senator Amy Klobuchar (D- MN)

phone

and now the female voice said they will let her know my opposition
.
And I will remind her next time she is here locally
Thanks for giving me the “sound bite” that it’s for the children. I’ve been calling the NJ senators at ALL their numbers. Although all the receptionists turn aside my question of how many calls they’ve been getting asking for a “no” vote, one of them finally said “We’ve been getting a lot of calls asking for it.”
I heard on the radio this morning that Specter is trying to get together with some “moderate senators” to see if they can find a compromise and pass the porkage. Single Bullet Specter strikes again.
Cornyn from Texas will get a minor campaign contribution from me to encourage him to keep up the good work, and Senator Kay Hutchison will no doubt send me a reply that tries to explain why she is such a weenie...again.
Call local in state offices if DC offices are busy. Call Call Call.
I’ve been watching CSAP2 all day and about fell ovr when Feinstein said that. I’m getting the feeling that only the uber lefties are for this and I hope this bad bill gets voted down.
I simply told him that this is massive spending, but he’ll probably reach for his Scotish Lawbook to tell me why I don’t understand. We are so screwed. Who is John Galt?
