Unless someone’s account was debited for this grant, it isn’t technically “customer” money - but it might well be shareholder money. B of A hasn’t been doing too well with shareholders lately.

Don’t forget that BOA was issuing credit cards to illegals a year ago; that’s when I closed my account!

Yep. I have a BoA mortgage. I’m re-financing with a local bank with instructions that they NOT sell my mortgage to anyone else or there will be BIG trouble.

Same here, I walked away from B of A over the illegals credit offer.

Walk away from B of A!

What other banks do you guys recommend?

I'm in Florida and I like on-line capability.

what is BoA’s motivation? Are they owned by leftoids, or is it a shakedown?

the extremeness of organizations like acorn is what wins the left so much with so little.

the minute we start getting a bit extreme, about 25% of people on here start putting it down. they just don’t get it. we need to fight this thing like the left fights it, or we are going to lose this war

Wells Fargo was giving preferential treatment to illegals for mortgages two years ago. Thankfully, I don't have money in either bank.

I'm curious as to what you plan to do if they sell the paper, which they will almost instantly.

The mortgage on our two family was just sold to Countrywide. Needless to say I’m not happy.

I know WaMu hit the skids but it’s been taken over by JPMorgan = King of the Universe now.

I’m going to complete the process of moving from BofA to WaMu this week.

Do you really need to ask? A shakedown, of course.

I'm quite certain that you signed papers acknowledging that BofA may sell your mortgage.

What you instruct them to do with it now will be promptly and carefully ignored.

Bank of America will be hit with the loss of my accounts today.

ACORN ... jeezy peezy...

Considered closing on Bank of America two days ago on their gloom n doom headlines but I definitely don't want any bank of mine to be associated in any way with ACORN or any other maggot liberal reactionary group.

I will warn you, you cannot walk into a B of A and close your account. They will keep charging you for an overdrawn account until you call and close it over the phone. They won’t tell you this, though. The teller will very graciously give you back your money and tell you that it is closed, until you start getting notices. Of course they ding your credit every time, as well.
