That’s actually a good idea. Its “pay-go” so it would stop the Senate from spending like there’s no tomorrow. They would need 60 votes on every big spending item.

Obama is not going to stop there...he has bigger plans to limit pay for industries and businesses across this country whether they get TARP money or not.

No wonder the dems want to hurry this bill through the senate. The American people are waking up and realizing this bill is not ‘stimulus’....it is democrat special interest pork. By Sunday, the poll numbers on the Porkulus bill will be in the tank!

Huh? DeMint amendment permits schools receiving the stimulus to continue to have religious groups meet on campus, not resrict them.
Demint was trying to put an ammendment in to stop the leftists from banning faith forums if they got federal funds.
