WASHINGTON (AP) - Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery Thursday after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the court said.

Ginsburg, 75, had the surgery at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She will remain in the hospital for seven to 10 days, said her surgeon, Dr. Murray Brennan, according to a release issued by the court.

The court announcement said the cancer is apparently in the early stages.

Prayers and best wishes for Ginsberg.

No reason to lower ourselves due to her politics.

I know Nino Scalia must be saddened by the health of his friend.

I’m sorry, I can’t wish her well, so I will just say nothing.

I’d guess....he will nominate a black ultra-liberal woman.
That would be right up his alley.......

Who fits that bill?

Oh maybe MICHELLE Obama... : )

Michelle Obama

Wash your mouth out with soap. Victima would probably NOT get past the senate.

Lawrence Tribe would be a GOOD appointment. He gets the Second Amendment. Doesn’t necessarily like it, but is intellectually honest enough to say that after seriously studying the topic, he reversed his long held “collective right” belief. Intellectually honest SC justices, and particularly ones who are intellectually honest re the 2A, are what we should be hoping for. Obviously, we’re going to get left-leaning justices from Obama, but we could do a LOT worse than Tribe.

Oprah has too big an ego to accept. She needs to be on tv to satisfy herself.

Prayers for Justice Ginsburg, I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

Politics aside, I’ve heard that she has a wonderful personality and she is one of Scalia’s closest personal friends.

I am glad to hear that Tribe has redeeming social value. I thought he was just another booksmart lefty.

Ah c’mon, your all carrying on as if the Messiah is going to nominate a replacement based on some sort of idealistic litmus test.

William Ayers has no experience in law to qualify him in any way, shape, or form to be a Supreme Court Justice does he, but then Obama hasn’t the experience in anything but BS to be President of the United States either.

Anymore...who knows? It’s a time in history we should all be sad, truly sad, and fearful for our Nation.

BLOAT.
