The Impending Obama Meltdown
National Review Online ^ | February 4, 2009 | Victor Davis Hanson

Some of us have been warning that it was not healthy for the U.S. media to have deified rather than questioned Obama, especially given that they tore apart Bush, ridiculed Palin, and caricatured Hillary. And now we can see the results of their two years of advocacy rather than scrutiny.

We are quite literally after two weeks teetering on an Obama implosion—and with no Dick Morris to bail him out—brought on by messianic delusions of grandeur, hubris, and a strange naivete that soaring rhetoric and a multiracial profile can add requisite cover to good old-fashioned Chicago politicking.

Why just yesterday they were commenting and wrote an article on how she wore hooker boots with an outfit.

Post. VERY worthless. Pics.

Cheers!

Several on this tread.

She is HAWT in that outfit. Note what they say about her in the article. Dumb twits.

.......Someone else is pulling the strings.....

They are writing notes for him the read. He is making motions but accomplishing nothing. He is a tragic joke. The blacks will suffer for two hundred more years because of him

I could see him giving a fireside chat. Wearing a red sweater and roaring fire in the back ground.

He'd be sipping on a cool drink and wearing a short sleeve shirt and shorts with his bare feet in a wading pool. In the background would be the White House thermostat set at 80.

...If he doesn't quit the messianic style and perpetual campaign mode...

Been hearing that alot, that governing is a bit harder than campaigning.

If talk radio is any indicator, the honeymoon is over. Listened to a left-of-center radio show yesterday and the Obama Kool-Aid mustache mouths are pissed. "Where's the change?" they're asking. "Why should I have to pay taxes?"..."Why is he picking these d-bags?!"

Man, it's tough when your gods fail you.

Its amazing what a $Billion in advertising and a corrupt media can do. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Pray for America, Our Troops and obama’s Guidance

At home, Obama is becoming laughable and laying the groundwork for the greatest conservative populist reaction since the Reagan Revolution.

This article's a good read, but I'm afraid the above sentence is wishful thinking.

Remember when leaders led this country??

People who know how to 'get'er done'.....at least one sector of time and work....shame politicians today have not a clue on what to do with respect to the economy. No dedication left in politics but to one's one wealth and the socialist agenda....

Get'er done!!

God Bless'em...folks who laid their asses on the line to do the right thing

Take Note on What Leadership Really Is

“obama is a puppet. someone else is pulling the strings.”

“my money says pelosi or reid.”

my money says a bunch of scu*bags outside of the country is pulling the strings.

IMHO

Obama is looking more and more like a black Jimmy Carter. A President who is in way over his head and can't lead and get others to follow him. He's a metrosexual dandy at home and abroad. And like Rodney Dangerfield, he's getting no respect!

DUH!

I think the sheeple are now waking to the fact that Zero IS a Socialist and they want to put on the brakes

In other times that might have been the case. And to be clear, millions of us have known this. But today people are frightened and worried about their jobs, with good reason, and want someone to take charge.

Sadly, too many an American today does not feel as if he is the master of his fate, and would just as soon that someone else be the captain of his soul for awhile.

"wrecking this country - and that's before the next terrorist event on our shores."

If the BO administration gets much worse, it is an open invitation for a massive terror attack.

I went to buy a few things at my local small town grocery store tonight and while she was scanning my groceries, I took a bunch of magazine with Michelle and the kids and said, “If I have to look at one more picture of Barack Obama and his family I’m going to throw up.” Then I turned them around and covered them up.

The clerk (a young Hispanic girl) didn’t even flinch. She said, “Yeah, and look at all the people he’s got working for him - didn’t pay their taxes!”

I never thought the public was so stupid as to vote for someone about whom they knew nothing tangible.

Why would you think that? Republicans ask us to ignore what we know about candidates... They call this "pragmatism".

The tax-evasion issue is the real killer.

All us peasants of either stripe can relate to that.

We don’t get excuses so why do they?

But when things get better, and they will, we will still be stuck with all the new Socialist policies and programs. Socialism is VERY difficult to dismantle once it gets a foothold. Look at Britain.
