Are Obama and Gen. Petraeus on a collision course?
Obama and his reps have been quietly meeting with Muslim nations since before the inauguration -- maybe even before the elections. A violation of the Logan Act? Making deals on withdrawal so they'll lighten up on us if we promise to pull out of Afghanistan.
And Obama has been having secret talks with Iran, as we're finding out. What's he planning? Submission? One might think so. Obama's demanding 10% in defense cuts at a time when we are at war.
And just in case you don't like it and are getting any ideas... Florida's Alcee Hastings has introduced a House bill calling for the secretary of homeland security to establish no fewer than six national emergency centers for corralling civilians on military installations. It is Orwellian-speak for national civilian detention centers,more commonly known as concentration camps.

Time to file a class action by active military for the birth certificate. Get tens of thousands of troops in the class. Yes they cannot file cases but send it up anyway to get denied. A lot of people are sick of the tax cheats and criminals O is trying to nominate.
Also everyoine call your Congressperson/Senators and tell them you are against the stimulus fraud. Supposedly the calls are strongly against.

Barack Obama has replaced “Hail to the Chief” with this song by Sting- “Desert Rose” featuring Algerian-born raï singer singer Cheb Mami singing in Arabic:
This Arabic language song will be played at public events instead of the traditional “Hail to the Chief.”

On Day One of his presidency, everywhere Mr. Obama went they played “Hail to the Chief” for him – but not since. In fact the U.S. Marine Band’s duties at the White House over the last 10 days appear to have been dramatically downsized.
Instead of the usual contingent of trumpets, tubas and drums, a single piano player now provides musical interludes before and after the president’s appearance.
And the tunes have little connection to the military marching music of John Phillips Souza [sic] that is the usual accompaniment to presidential appearances. These days the pianist’s repertoire includes Cole Porter’s “Night and Day” and Sting’s “Desert Rose.”
“He’s not a ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ kind of guy,” says press secretary Robert Gibbs of the new president.

Sounds way overblown to me.
That's a bit of a stretch. Following the link, I read the bases would be used much like the Superdome was during Katrina. A poorly run government disaster shelter for those too dumb or ill-prepared for an emergency? Yes. Concentration camp? No.
Agreed.
Rush needs to cut short his vacation and return to command HQ. Nation is in peril.

While I LOVE that song Desert Rose, I think it is ridiculous if he has changed the song. For God sake, this isn’t “What’s your favorite song”, this is a military deal.
While it sounds outrageous, I do wonder why the EMERGENCY facilities would be on military installations?
If they have to build them anyway, why not on property NOT surrounded by fences and men with guns?

Probably because federal instillations have to be on federal property.

Is Gibbs talking about the same guy who had the largest, most expensive (by multiples) inauguration ever?
It’s all overblown. Everything’s grand. Bad things only happen in other countries... never ours.
