Bonnie Newman announced as the replacement for Senator Gregg.
Great, she’ll also be in there, not only as a RINO, but as a Chafee-style ticking time bomb, ready to switch parties should the next election give the GOP some seats back and they look like they’re going to take the Senate back.
And therefore, my tag fits in nicely after yours. ;^)
I give these clowns two years to totally screw up and come 2010 the GOP, “IF” it gets a testicle & spine implant, will be in an excellent position to retake the House and begin to take back the Senate...of course that is a HUGE “IF” LOL

Apparently, Gregg made it a condition of acceptance that a Republican be nominated in his place. Senator Gregg is at least not stupid.
ABSOLUTELY! This will be an open seat in 2010, and the Democrats will be hankering for a pickup. Our best shot is with someone with enough heft to take on the state.
