A Middle East expert says President Barack Obama show ed weakness during a recent interview on an Arab television network.
"The mistake that President Obama [made] is not only going on Al-Arabiya, but talking in a way that made the United States look bad by saying to them that America needs to listen instead of always dictating," says Gabriel.
The former broadcast journalist says that sends the "wrong message" to terrorists -- an element she contends truly hates America "no matter how nice we try to appear."
"This sends a message to the radical Islamists...that America is weak, [that] America does not want to fight [and] cannot fight; and [that] this is why we are going to them begging for them to like us."

100 % agreement with you. I was checking on my way down to post the same sentiments. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get into an overly aggressive military adventure to get our nose bloodied and turn the country off on further overseas involvement, either. Was that the secret of Toon’s involvement in Somalia?
was this during the ‘60 campaign or after the Bay of Pigs?
There. Fixed it.
They do not want to hurt Obama. They believe he is in their corner.
Two things,
1. Obama’s infamous “we’re sorry” speech represents the depth of Oprahization of America. Hey muslim friends, would you all be my new BFFs? Pleeeze...
2. Because he is young, arrogant, and insecure, he may do something impetuous and drastic to prove to everyone that he is not a ‘pussy’.
Overall his gesture was a disaster for Muslim leaders, America, and the world. In less than two week he has made the world more unstable and dangerous and has made the ME situation considerably more complicated and volatile.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Great illustration.
Now that would be a huge mistake that would infuriate the usurper. He already bitc*ed about having to move from the hotel to Blair house then to the WH. zer0 doesn't like to be inconvenienced. He's always been a puppet and still is.
The NON PRESIDENT is keeping up his image perfectly.
Do they respect them in the morning?
It’s only “weakness” if you assume that Obama has America’s best interests at heart.
“It’s only “weakness” if you assume that Obama has Americaâs best interests at heart.”
It is still projecting weakness of the US to our enemies — even if he is doing it deliberately. And of course, if it’s deliberate, he is clearly a treitor to the US.
I order to arrive at an answer that might be close, you have to think like a terrorist would. What kind of attack would cause the most outrage? (hint: American school children - GOD FORBID!)
Bush's fault.
Hussein has promised to cancel most new weapons systems also. Again, don't forget this is coming from a man who,,,
gave 'aid-and-comfort' to our enemies during time of war with his incessant calls for a pullout before the job was done,,,
and 'THAT VERY' encouragement to our enemies helped prolong the war and cost more American casualties!!
W’s stock rising already! Who would’ve thunk it, so soon.
Here is the million dollar question someone should ask him directly:
Mr. President, regarding a future attack against the United States, do you agree with the statement ‘not if, but when?’
He’s black, so we can’t give an opinion because he is THAT special. Didn’t you get the memo? :-)
Experience combined with good insticts and judgement is even better. But, again, 0 has Zero.
We’re screwed.
He might have just as well put up a big sign that says *Kick me* on his back.
I think that you missed the invisible sarcasm tag....
