A Middle East expert says President Barack Obama show ed weakness during a recent interview on an Arab television network.
"The mistake that President Obama [made] is not only going on Al-Arabiya, but talking in a way that made the United States look bad by saying to them that America needs to listen instead of always dictating," says Gabriel.
The former broadcast journalist says that sends the "wrong message" to terrorists -- an element she contends truly hates America "no matter how nice we try to appear."
"This sends a message to the radical Islamists...that America is weak, [that] America does not want to fight [and] cannot fight; and [that] this is why we are going to them begging for them to like us."

“I don’t believe he showed weakness......”
Oh, really? Telling Americans that WE need to be more understanding towards Muslims, NOT the other way around, bending his knee in front of Ahmadinejad, while Iran is supplying terrorists and weapons to Iraq and Gaza, which are even now are killing American soldiers is NOT weakness?
“I’m too cold. Turn up the heat. Let them eat cake.”
I could see a much higher casualty rate on a ferry where the population can’t even hide and there are no armed police. The terrorist have a complete shooting gallery and can escape via speedboat before any one on either side of the river can respond. They can attack a couple of them at once and result in thousands killed in a matter of minutes. The most obvious areas are the gun control Meccas of NY, NJ, MD, Delaware and Washington.
Hussein has repeatedly stated that we cannot fight two wars at once.
The WOT will have to wait,,,
not that Hussein has created the "CLASS WARFARE TAKE FORCE" will Joe Biden presiding.
Hussein has given priority to "CLASS WARFARE" over the WOT for the time being.
Therefore he planned weakness.
“Hussein has given priority to “CLASS WARFARE” over the WOT for the time being.”
Unfortunately you are correct.
And don’t forget, Limbaugh is the real enemy, not Bin Laden, according to our Presidetn.
I think they have the balls to go for the Whitehouse and the Capital building again. They probably want to finish what they started.
If we are attacked again, then it is completely the fault of Obozo and his minions, the democraps in congress, and all who voted for them. The guilt of dead Americans rests solely on them.
There is no War On Terror any longer! It was Bush's 8 years of failed policy that made them attack us. Now, we'll all just get along and Obama will disarm us as a show of peace and good will. And they will love us again.
Don't you know anything?
He came across as contemptible. Unfortunately he now represents our entire nation.
koom by ya and all that
..if the Islamic Republic is ready to “unclench its fist”..

They DID unclench their fist and extended the “Hawaiian Peace Sign”.
For those of you who “Forgot” the USS Pueblo (AGER-2), the Hawaiian Peace Sign is akin to the 1 fingered salute.
Obama has blinked and the Iranian leaders are trying to take advantage of the new administrations weakness.
It will be more difficult to deal with them, now that they have that idea. They will put more and more pressure on the new president.
I believe they now see that victory may well be in sight. Obama has created a monster and he now has to deal with it.
That was the first thing that grabbed my attention.Using the word "dictating" does nothing but reaffirm their hatred.
Yeah, even though the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01 happened a mere 7 months and 22 days after President Bush was sworn in. But who's counting, and what do facts matter.
No, they do like them—but not in a way that I can mention here...(ever see Lawrence of Arabia and his encounter with the Turkish Colonel?)
Exactly.
Obama doesn’t even want to use the term War on Terror anymore. He recently called it a ‘twilight struggle’ whatever that is.
