This is in the UK where this week it has been revealed that two small children were taken from their loving grandparents to be adopted by two gay men. The grandparents were threatened with never being allowed to see the children again if they complained, now this nurse is being suspended for offering to pray for her patient.
It's not theoretical anymore folks, it ain't just talk and speculation, they're doing it now, it's happening as we speak, the war is on.

Is there a thread about the gay men and the grandparents?

failing to demonstrate a "personal and professional commitment to equality and diversity"
Which is UTTERLY ironic since that is EXACTLY what they have done

She should have put a scarf over her head and prayed to Allah. I guarantee she’d still have her job.

The supervisor who suspended her was also suspended for praying when he said, “God___ it Nurse!”

This is a sad commentary about the state of affairs in US and our English cousins’ country. We pray to the one true God and get fired for doing it. SAD SAD SAD! I hope that she will find out what God wants her to do and do it. God will judge these people who suppress the Christians who follow Jesus.

Caroline Petrie, a committed Christian, has been accused by her employers of failing to demonstrate a “personal and professional commitment to equality and diversity”
Can someone that speaks english and is not a socialist moron explain what the hell a professional commitment to equality and diversity is??
The world is going insane.............

England has removed their citizens right to bear arms, their right to practice their religion and their right to raise their children. It’s tyranny.

It's like these people are trying to force a square peg into a round hole. They're complete morons.
The problem is not these PC dumbasses, unfortunately it is the good men and women who have common sense and decency, but allow this crapolla to infest society by just turning a blind eye and not demanding proper standards.

She was very polite and just asked the patient if she wanted to pray for her. Using US First Amendment analysis, which I realize doesn’t apply in England, firing this lady seems to be stepping over the line from no establishment of religion and into infringing on the free exercise of religion by the nurse. Even if it was against the rules, a simple reprimand should do, not firing. The patient who complained just needs to chill out, as do her superiors.

#1 -- I am in shock, myself! Prayers up for the grandparents and the nurse.
Prayer PING! for these who are suffering persecution, and that people in our country not experience this.
