A nurse has been suspended from her job for offering to pray for an elderly patient's recovery from illness.
Caroline Petrie, a committed Christian, has been accused by her employers of failing to demonstrate a "personal and professional commitment to equality and diversity".
She faces disciplinary action and could lose her job over the incident.
Mrs Petrie, a married mother of two, says she has been left shocked and upset by the action taken against her.

Can someone that speaks english and is not a socialist moron explain what the hell a professional commitment to equality and diversity is?? A non-muzzy who didn't offer the proper respect to muzzies.
(Do muzzies realize that when they put their forehead on the floor towards mecca, their a$$es and feet are pointing towards mecca from the opposite direction?)

"I said: 'I am sorry. Did I offend or upset her?' The sister said: 'No, no. She was just a bit taken back. You must be aware of your professional code of conduct. I would be careful.' Thought crime.

You can put me on it. Seems like I was on it at one time. I can’t really remember.

She was very polite and just asked the patient if she wanted to pray for her. Using US First Amendment analysis, which I realize doesn’t apply in England, firing this lady seems to be stepping over the line from no establishment of religion and into infringing on the free exercise of religion by the nurse. Even if it was against the rules, a simple reprimand should do, not firing. The patient who complained just needs to chill out, as do her superiors.

It is amazing to see how a country allows itself to be taken over without a shot being fired. How are your Spanish language lessons coming along??

One of the good ones, do not want welfare, special provisions, bailout money, to be catered to or to have everything spelled out for us.

#1 -- I am in shock, myself! Prayers up for the grandparents and the nurse.
Prayer PING! for these who are suffering persecution, and that people in our country not experience this.

What about equality for Christains?
Shouldn’t “diversity” include Christians?

Thank you, sister! When I trained to be a EMT in CA, in 1991 in a Ca.Jr, College, we were taught we could pray over children that were stillborn or died shortly after they were born for the sake of their Catholic parents. We could pray for anyone! That was in L.A County. I will have to check with my nephew to see what's up now. He is a L.A City Firefighter and a new Daddy!
This a sign that the Pilgrims were right to come to America! Thank God they did! Read the comments on the Daily Mail!. My oldest son's Church sent a missionary (Not Mormon) to England ! only 3% of the population go to church on a regular basis. Must be the Queen being the head of State Church! Our Founding Fathers were wise!
God Bless you!
