Weve got trouble in River City. And the river is the Potomac. And the city is Washington, DC.
Looks like even leftwing puppets Jim Cramer and Chris Matthews are questioning the bills meager infrastructure spending.
Take the infrastructure number. Do you know that its $30 billion for infrastructure for bridges? Cramer queried. The Big Dig cost $22 billion
and it only put 5,000 to work
Its not gonna put a lot of people to work.
Why in the world arent we...

With 350 million to “prevent” STDs and 300 million to buy condoms, somebody must be getting “stimulated.”

It is all about paying back their crony supporters. Since the democrat socialist party only spends other people's money the stimulus package is their vehicle for under the table paybacks.
And the sheepels continue to bask in his glory.

If this doesn’t collapse our economy, I’ll be shocked. We are still losing jobs. Where do they think this money is coming from?

My husband just informed me of Sen. Feinstein’s bright idea to have used cars turned in for new cars (give people thousands to help buy new, not used) and destroy the used cars....She must never have bought her teenagers their first car or felt that used was GOOD ENOUGH sometimes?
Idiots at the wheel - we’re all doomed!!!

Th Gov’t has no idea how much this is going to stimulate the underground economy.

Most of the "porkulus" is giving away money to pay bills that employed people pay for themselves. It does nothing to encourage businesses to hire people so they get an ongoing "stimulus" known as a paycheck for performing productive work.

Hillary’s useless office job porkers overwhelmed Obama’s efforts to be an old type Democrat and put men to work in construction. I saw that coming. There goes the increasingly large and starving young side of the Democrat base.
Next term: popular rejection of politics and real class war
Our effete half is voting itself largesse from the treasury and control over business at the same time. And along the way, you’ll continue to see one great, phony, politically correct “choice” of “hope” after another with noisy, rude, pushy campaigns of enticing lies about how “conservative” they are.

All of this job creation takes no account of how long those jobs last. Letting a business expand will crate new jobs that are likely to last many years. Gov't make-work jobs last only as long as the "investment" spending.
It would be more truthful to talk in terms of "job-years" to avoid focusing on creating jobs that might only last a few months.

Why in the world arent we doing what they said they were going to do - build bridges, factory jobs, replace the smell of decay with the smell of construction? Matthews said.Okay, that does it.
If "Tingly-legs" is questioning the Stimulus Rip-off, er, uh, Debacle, I mean Program, whatever the hell they're calling it, then it's got to be a good thing.
I give up,send me my damn money.
I want it within two weeks, ya hear?
I've got vehicle licensing and property taxes to pay, send me my damn stimulatin' money.
I don't care if Nutsobama signs it or if that tax-evading Sec Treas signs it, just get it to me.
Quick, before inflation makes it worth a loaf of bread.
How much is it again, that I'm supposed to get?
I don't have to go take one of those jobs that King Hussein is creating with this wondrous project, do I?
I ain't working for it, no way.

Bingo! A task funded by a government contract ends when the task is finished (or the money is exhausted). My employment is based on marketing, developing business, landing a contract and executing the delivery. That delivery runs from 6 months to 3 years depending on the contract. When it's over, it's over. You have to chase more work. It's not like a McDonald's where the customers keep coming as long as you keep generating a desirable product. We need to cut taxes so small businesses that create ongoing employment can hire employees and produce products.
