I think its time we raise a stink about the lack of news coverage regarding the Ice Storm and what appears to be a lack of concern from Obama's administration.
Head on over to Fox News website, scroll down to the bottom for the news tip box (lower left) and ask them why they are not raising questions regarding what is being done by the administration to help.
Obama seems so intent on getting the porkulus bill passed he's ignoring the emergency and the struggle of regular American's in just getting the basics like WATER!
Ok, I'm done for now. But I've entered my little rant on the Fox News site. I picked them because they are more likely to do something about it then the drive-by idiots.

I just asked WHERE’S OBAMA on the thread right before this about the Kentucky Governor calling up the National Guard to help.
When we had the bad ice storm in Dec 2007, by this time President Bush had helicoptered all over Oklahoma to view the damage. Looks like ZERO doesn’t care about people in Middle America.
Thanks for bringing this up. I was thinking about this myself, today. We’ve have a lot of Freepers MIA this week and I’m sure it’s due to a lack of electricity.

You beat me to it and where is the outrage? Americans drinking from creeks, FEMA slow to respond and Obama nowhere in sight.
Oh that is right, no outrage, when poor mostly white people are drinking from creeks freezing to death and living in the dark.
No Wolf Blizter to tell us how “poor and white” they are either. I guess when you are poor, white, live in the South and more than likely voted for Bush, the press believes you are getting what you deserve

Not a word from Zero (in the lame-stream) extending a ‘hand’ to the people in these regions. Ultimately it is up to the Governors of the states to ‘sound the call’.....but NOTHING from ZERO just to say....”Hey, guys....we’re thinking of you and are here if you need us”. NOTHING.

The people that live in the Eastern KY hills are pretty poor.
I see no help for them. Obama is preparing to enjoy the Super Bowl instead.
Without power, cooking out on the back deck..we should be so lucky in the Northeast to have those temps. Stop whining..we just deal with it. People help one another with no thought of personal recognition. Great PR for the Politicians in electability. I share sadness with any loss of any life but..that's the weather, so be prepared!!

BTTT this is important and every FReeper needs to send info that we want this covered on fox. Alot of fellow FReepers are in this area, and all anyone seems to care about is the superbowl. I remember alot of games and such were put on hold while fellow americans were suffering through Katrina. You would think they would give a crap about ALL americans. I think thats RACIST!
“Zero” doesn’t like the “cold.” If the disaster were in Hawaii...or maybe Mexico....he’d probably be there.
