Since Obama moved into the oval office, his whole demeanor has changed. he doesn't where a suit jacket and tie, he's unshaven, always sweaty looking, and there is a strange redness in his eyes... When crop fail instead of being robust, and the weather doesn't change as Obama had promised, we can be reasonably sure that the false Messiah has arrived. It has never been the intention that the chattering classes be forced to set their thermostats cold during the winter or drive silly midget cars or pay penalties and interest on fraudulently misreported income on tax returns. It has always been the intention that the middle and lower class be forced to do so. The chattering class, otoh, needs gasoline and heat and tax avoidance in order to have the time and ability to force wisdom and good behavior onto their lessers.
They really don’t see it as hypocrisy when Al Gore drives up to a global warming conference in an SUV and leaves the AC on while he is speaking. What they do is IMPORTANT.
Fundamentally, they do not believe they are governed by the same rules as thee and me. Sadly, they are correct and we are the silly ones—thinking that our betters should adhere to the same standards they force on us.
