1 million without power/freezing and Obama's oval office set to a toasty tropcial setting

One million without power freezing and Obama sets the Oval Office thermostat to a toasty tropical setting that you could grow Orchids in, according to David Axlerod, senior advisor. Axlerod's response, "He is from Hawaii.", Yet Obama has not lived in Hawaii for 20 years but hails from the chilly city of Chicago. Obama has also told us the days of setting our thermostats to 72 degress are over. We can't do it, but he can, while millions freeze without power and some dying.

It's not the thermostat. It's always hot wherever Satan dwells.

Since Obama moved into the oval office, his whole demeanor has changed. he doesn't where a suit jacket and tie, he's unshaven, always sweaty looking, and there is a strange redness in his eyes... When crop fail instead of being robust, and the weather doesn't change as Obama had promised, we can be reasonably sure that the false Messiah has arrived. So look out, according to bible prophecy we are in for a rough ride as he nearly destroys the nation.

Put on a jacket or a sweater or a vest and turn down the heat in the Oval Office. Oops.

Contact Obama WhiteHouse – Warning—responses might be tracked on WhiteHouse.gov site

Other countries of the world should weigh in about the irresponsible use of power in the oval office.

A POTUS needs to set an example.

Obama’s arrogance has already blinded his savvy.

If the Oval Office was chilly, why didn’t he just WEAR HIS SUIT COAT and announce that he feels our cold?

Two issues instantly defused (dignity and consistency).

It would have worked.

It has never been the intention that the chattering classes be forced to set their thermostats cold during the winter or drive silly midget cars or pay penalties and interest on fraudulently misreported income on tax returns. It has always been the intention that the middle and lower class be forced to do so. The chattering class, otoh, needs gasoline and heat and tax avoidance in order to have the time and ability to force wisdom and good behavior onto their lessers.

They really don’t see it as hypocrisy when Al Gore drives up to a global warming conference in an SUV and leaves the AC on while he is speaking. What they do is IMPORTANT.

Fundamentally, they do not believe they are governed by the same rules as thee and me. Sadly, they are correct and we are the silly ones—thinking that our betters should adhere to the same standards they force on us.

"A million people without power in Kentucky. Where is FEMA? Why weren’t the people evacuated? They should have known that devastation was on the way after the storm hit Tulsa."

I wonder what Obama was doing as this disaster was unfolding.

Probably chatting on his blackberry to Ayers, which is another thing Obama is getting away with, being able to hide his conversations with terrorists and all the other criminals in his inner circle.

And of course we will never see the media reporting on his where abouts, and ridiculing him for months afterward for not giving a damn about the poor victims of socialism.

I sure hope someone has been able to crack Obama's security measures on that blackberry, and is storing all of his criminal activity. There has to be someone who knows what extra security thee blackberry company has provided, and how to get into it...

Don't forget, this is PUBLIC HOUSING we're talking about here.

"THE MAN" hasn't been maintaining the housing project properly--and the heat wasn't warm enough. /s

P.S. By using more heat--he's helping to stimulate the D.C. local economy. I'm sure D.C. utility companies really appreciate the extra revenue.

Will Leno or Letterman pick up on this and use it? Of course not. But if it was Republican....well, never mind.

He might never be used to it. I’m originally from Colorado, and I keep my thermostat on a balmy 76.

Great pic, it captures his true demeanor perfectly. Arrogance and bitter contempt for the nation he’s always dreamed of destroying

You mean 0 didn’t send in FEMA and the National Guard to help all those people who will be without power until the middle of Feb? If anyone freezes to death it will be all HIS fault. Oh the humanity and where are all the media stories?

What is the difference between Katrina and ice storms in Arkansas and Kentucky? Obambi didn't do a flyover. He didn't help the people.

G.W. got called on the carpet for his response to Katrina even though the first responders should have been the Louisiana governor and the mayors in each city or town affected.

So what is the temperature in Obama’s Whitehouse? 82 F, like Hilo Hawaii? I guess that is what he meant when he said 72 F is wrong. 82 F is OK. :-)

72 is way too warm for me, but do you think he should just turn it off until everybody has their power back?

No, but he “should” turn it down as a “symbolic gesture”, to make him “feel good”, and that he is "doing something".

He “should” tour the area, getting in the way, and make sure FEMA is doing its job, to “show he's no G. W. Bush”.

He should just disappear in a puff of greasy smoke, after being sprinkled with Holy Water.

My thermostat has been set at 38 all this week until I got my power back on last night. Obama just left me to freeze :)

On the upside, the bright spot to having no power was not having to hear any mention of Obama.
