MARION, Ky. A crippling winter storm has plunged about a million customers into the dark from the Midwest to the East Coast, and thousands of people in ice-caked Kentucky have sought refuge in motels and shelters.
Dozens of deaths have been reported and many people are pleading for a faster response to the power outages. Some in rural Kentucky ran short of food and bottled water, and resorted to dipping buckets in a creek.

Oh someone posted it on another thread. It’s probably on tinypic by now. I copied it when I saw it on another thread because Looter Guy is a legend here. This photochop will probably replace Looter Guy now on every FEMA related thread. At least Looter Guy just looted the Heineken. Zero is looting everyone who has a few nickels to rub together.
As far as the topic, being a resident of Louisiana and a three time hurricane survivor in the last three years Captain Zero deserves all the derision he gets on this delayed response to a deadly natural disaster. The DNC made Katrina a political issue BEFORE the storm hit and used it everyday to destroy President Bush.
You arent too bright, are you LCF?
I found and posted that photo here previously, and I found it without ever going to the host site.
There’s a little button on my screen called “search”.
Oh?
Nevermind.....
I almost forgot. It's Bush's fault. /s
Posted it because it's funny. Been posted here by several other members in good standing, a number of times.
When I want your opinion, I'll ask for it.
I never said you visited the site. I was saying where the graphic came from. It does not necessarily follow that whoever posts a graphic knows the source of the graphic. That’s not the issue and I never tried to make it the issue. The issue is the source of the graphic tarnishes it, and I don’t think it’s appropriate to post graphics from sites such as that.
Isn’t it interesting that for eight years the liberals called Bush “Chimpy” and similar things, but it is racist to use the same word regarding Obama? Personally, I think it is poor taste in both cases, but for one to be humor and the other racist is just an example of what is wrong with this country.
When I get a minute, i’ll crop the photo before I post it again to remove the web address of the site, so as not to give it any undue publicity.
The photo is a hoot, though.
I know crews were sent from Northern Ohio. We kept them until the storm passed. We got badly burned with Ike blew through with crews sent to other states to assist. Little did we realize at the time we would need them here at home.
Where’s Zero?
What do you mean there is little for FEMA to do? They can supply generators to the people. Set up small neighborhood generators (Cat/Cummins diesel generators). Provide extra blankets, cloths, food, etc....
Don't let FEMA and the Marxist Pig off the hook!
Yeah, we cling to our guns and our religion. ;0)
Thank God they have their guns and religion to cling to in times of trouble.
I dont know why and I cannot remember who to be mad with about it, but the fact that President Bush declared Washington DC a Disaster area and authorised millions of dollars to be spent there becaue of the Inauguration and seeing Kentucky in trouble somehow really gets to me.
160 million spent to place Obama in the WH . Damn what a colossal waste of money.
Self reliance doesn’t matter in this case. We have ice storms also. I don’t need or want federal aid. The burr under the saddle is the fact that a cesspool in south Louisiana is more important than other regions. Why do they get the preferential treatment?. Don’t we bleed as well?
Where’s the photo?
You dont see the photo in my post?
I see it fine.
You're correct ....unless it's Louisianna BEFORE a hurricane...then it's Bush's fault.
