Kudos to you Michael. Now stand tall and proud. Be strong and push conservative principles. Do not falter and do not shrink from the fight against Obama and the Democrats.

Dear Norman Bates,

“That’s posturing.”

Could be. But that disgusts me, too. The man is a coward, then, didn't have the guts to stand up for what he really believes.

Either way, he's muddied the water.

“No where does he say he supports Roe.”

Actually, he says that Roe wasn't a good decision but that it should stand. That's what “stare decisis” concludes to.

I'm willing to say that what he said was merely an act of political cowardice, rather than outright apostasy.

But he's got to come clean and reaffirm that Roe must go.

Or I'll go.

“That is INSANE.”

Then I'm nuts. ;-) What can I tell ya?

“Steele is a devout Catholic,...”

So what? Nancy Pelosi claims the same.

“...pro-life to the core,...”

Sorry. I can no longer vouch for that.

“...a Knight of Columbus...”

I'm a Grand Knight. Regrettably, I know more than one pro-abortion Knight. * sigh *

“...and former seminarian.”

Sadly, we know more than one cleric who aren't pro-life.

Like I said, I'm willing to call it a mulligan, but he has to reaffirm that Roe must go.

Or I do. But it's just insane, crazy, nuts ol’ me. So it doesn't mean much. Right?

“Did you quit the GOP when Ken Mehlman was Chairman?”

Did Mr. Mehlman say on nation TV that Roe should stay?

Sorry, Norman. I followed you down the rabbit hole on the jackass McCain. In large part because of you, I supported the moron. Gave him hundreds of dollars.

He turned out to be a(n) (unwitting? witting?) tool of the anti-Christ Obama.

I won't be fooled again.

Do you know anything about the liberal blue state called Maryland where Michael Steele is from?

Amazing he was elected Lt Governor. Would like to see any Republican try to win the GOP in the State of Maryland in today’s environment including with all the voter fraud we are learning about.

Losing a race for Governor as a Republican Conservative in Maryland is nothing to be ashamed of IMHO. In fact, he ran a good race but some powers to be didn’t see fit to get behind him. Odds are against any Conservative Republican winning the Maryland Governor’s race anytime in the near future.

our first and last Independent President, George Washington

Why would you not state that Jefferson was "independent"?

And there has never been a more disastrous political strategy than the Bush/Rove/McCain pandering to Hispanics strategy. We need no more pandering to specific groups by the Republican party, or its leadership.

Well, you're probably going to be an unhappy camper, then.

A Steele supporter posted a link earlier to the new chairman's "Blueprint."

Part of his plan is do exactly that.

"We’ll also recruit candidates who can cross the ethnic, gender, and demographic divides that too often separate our country and cause confusion about our Party." - Michael Steele

Folks can figure out for themselves what that means, exactly.

We need strong leadership, Chairman Steele. Be there for us. If you do that, we’ll be back in the majority in the House in 2 yrs, the WH in 4, and the Senate in 6.

This is a pivotal time. Stand strong and make us proud.

Congrats.

Party factionalism was already pretty well established by the time Jefferson ran.

Was Steele not the most liberal of the five running?

If that is true, it shows the GOP is still on the wrong course.

Yes I want an account on who voted for the RINOS so there will be someone to berate via email or phone.

Also were all the committeeman and committeewoman and state chairman positions also up for grabs today?

Part of his plan is do exactly that.

Not exactly. It's fine to recruit candidates of any ethnicity if they share conservative Republican values. What I think is disastrous is devising programs to appeal to specific ethnic groups, such as amnesty for all and the Bush/Rove/McCain pander to Hispanics strategy.

If those ethnic candidates are recruited to go out and out Dem the Dems, then the strategy will fail. If they really are Republicans such as Jindal, then there will be successes.

He’s anti-gun and has a global-first mentality. The republican party can shove it.

If you think that the term RINO is an antiquated term then you must look into the mirror and ask yourself, “Am I a RINO?”

Yes, but he belonged to no Party. The faction that supported him, the republicans, merely espoused those ideals on which this nation was founded. So to say Jefferson was not independent is not true.

Was this before or after Steele's speech? And what did those fine minds of liberal land recommend we do?

All those things a pro-abortion politician do not add up to. By the way, Pelosi et al are not devout in any way shape or form.

You’re quite bitter then. Well I’m sorry. I wish I could get your money back. And mine. Good night.
