Kudos to you Michael. Now stand tall and proud. Be strong and push conservative principles. Do not falter and do not shrink from the fight against Obama and the Democrats.

Remember, the Obama Nation has their own online gang of thieves coming on places like FR to discourage Republicans.

DON’T BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE BASHING MICHAEL STEELE ON FR!!!!!

This:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,221839,00.html

“Let me tell you about Mike Tyson,” Steele said. “He is one of the most engaging and smartest guys I have ever had a chance to go toe to toe with in a debate.”

When Tyson asked Steele if he could campaign for him, Steele responded that he would “welcome in a heartbeat” the help.

“He may be divorced from my sister, but I can’t cast him aside,” Steele told the Times Magazine. “You embrace. You love. He is the father of my nieces and nephew. I’ve never sat in judgment of him, and I never would.”

He predicted it long ago, actually. But I’m thinking he’s probably giving very little thought to who is chairing the GOP in any case since he isn’t a part of it any longer.

It’s retarded to write off a whole region on the country, people trapped in currently demosludge areas don’t appreciate that.

A national party must exist in the whole nation. All 50 states.

Dean and the democraps learned this well.

As to Steele (did you know he’s sister was married to Iron Mike Tyson?) I’ve been torn on the final ballot, Dawson was also a very good candidate though Steele is the better talker which is part of job until 2012 when we have a POTUS nominee. Given the crap “leadership” in Congress (ok good job on the “porkulus” vote Boehner..) Steele can be regarded as the leader of the party until then. The party really needs a leader.

I’m sure the scum late night comedians will be amused and call it reaction to Obama. I really wish someone like Steele was the first black President instead of African/White Marxist Obama.

Thank goodness Mike Duncan is gone, everyone who voted for him on the first ballot should be expelled from their position. Contrary to CW at least he did not place first, leading to his dropping out.

so even though Steele’s not perfect

No one is perfect. Perfect doesn't exist in this mortal world. So the sooner conservatives get it through their thick skulls that it's better to build on what we have in common rather than spit at each other about our differences, the better off we -- and the country -- will all be, politically and in numerous other ways.

He will not cede any area of our country and will work to rebuild the Republican party

Great news. This is how Howard Dean remade the 'rat party, to the whoops and giggles of many freepers --but we all live with the results today-- in a spreading spew of purple and blue.

Let's hope Steele is as successful as Dean. America's survival depends on it.

Im from Maryland, have always voted for Steele, and have talked to Mike on several occasions. I am VERY familiar with him beyond just seeing a hip segment on FOX news.

Im just getting the info out there-I remember many on this site being excited for Colin Powell and hoping he would run for president.

Many pro-life people recognize the path lies through the states. Turning Roe would produce exactly that. From a practical point, that is the road to victory.

One shouldn’t misconstrue that other avenues are better. They aren’t.
