I’m not sure this is over. I expect Blago to file lawsuit against the state of IL. I’ve said it all along, I’m not sure why the Dems have thrown this guy under the bus so soon. He’s got the dirty laundry, and does not appear to be afraid to expose all of it.

I repeat, I do not think we have heard the last from Blago.

Under the same scrutiny this joker got 90% of Illinois all pols would be under indictment.

There. Fixed it. Until they see this sort of crap happened up close in your own hometown, few people realize how corrupt American politics is these days. Not every individual politican is crooked, but a vast number are, from your local city council all the way up to the White House.

Good news!!!! But in the criminal investigation I hope to see Dem bodies all over the place. I’ll even contribute some money to Blago if he’ll take some others down with him.

“Blagojevich’s ordeal is far from over. Federal prosecutors are expected to bring a corruption indictment against him by April, after which a trial date will be set.”

hehe.... yeah, right. This case is over.

It will turn out that all the eveidence will go missing as the dog will have eaten all the files.

Blagojevich's crime was that he didn't care who was the best-qualified candidate, the candidate who would set the country on the best path, the candidate who would best represent his state. All he cared about was what was in it for him.

Blagojevich did nothing worse than the average Democrat voter.

What I find disgusting is the same demonRATS that have called for Blagojevich's impeachment/removal from office even though he hasn't been indicted or convicted of a crime have allowed William Jefferson (D)LA to stay in office even though he has been indicted.

Patrick Quinn is now Gov. for a Democrat, he’s seems like a pretty decent guy. Of course here the Democrats and GOP almost all stink of liberalism.

LOLOL!
Excellent, potlatch!

I’ve been totally out of the loop lately.
My father-in-law had a bad accident, and passed away.
Many thanks to both of you for your posts and pings.

Well the show was fun while it lasted.

Oh my, that was the first chapter only. Next chapter is the federal trial and finding out what sort of a deal he gets, and whose name he names . . .Stay tuned.

He’s pushing EVERY Left Wing button! Women, children, Blacks, Hispanics, gays—he’s gonna fight this for all their sakes!

Oh, and he blames Bush, too!

The big one was Rahm Emanuel.

I’m sure Rahm heard that loud and clear .. (and so did O).

Blagojevich: If you fire me, fire Rahm Emanuel. An explainer.

http://blogs.suntimes.com/sweet/2009/01/blagojevich_lets_demand_that_p.html

###

Two of weaker charges filed against Blagojevich stem from ill fated actions taken during his first term involving purchase of flu vaccines without proper approval, making the sale illegal and trying to import prescription drugs from Canada and other countries a few years ago without consent of the Food and Drug Administration.

Blagojevich correctly told the state Senate on Thursday that the mover behind the drug importation issue was then Rep. Rahm Emanuel, now President Obama’s chief of staff. The FDA proved to be a toothless tiger in the drug importation movement and never seriously tried to either approve or block any importation plans put in place by a relatively small number of cities and states.

That’s the context. Blagojevich said he the state senate fires him, than Emanuel should be tossed out too.

I heard he was no longer in office. The voters voted him out.
