And hes hard-working, too, unlike that previous guy!
Sharing with America President Obamas daily schedule, Diane Sawyer managed to work in a little shot at President Bushs early-to-bed habits.
[H/t FReeper library user]
DIANE SAWYER: For the first time, we have details this morning on the new night-owl presidency. We have the presidents schedule: compare it to yours. He hits the gym at 6:45 AM, does weights and cardio. He reads several paper, eats breakfast with the family, sees his daughter off to school, both daughters off to school. Then makes the 30-second commute to work, landing him in the Oval Office at 9 AM. A lot of snorting around here about that.
His office day, by the way, ends at 10 PM. And the former president used to be in bed by 10 PM. So, the night owl has arrived.

One good clean 20 min meeting with the right people addressing the right question is worth more than 500 Bill Clinton all night pizza and cigar work parties or 1000 Obama how can stack the deck for 2012 meetings. Meetings - where the minutes are taken, and the hours are lost.

BFD, I start my day at the gym at 6:00, get on a train to NYC, then subway which door to door is about 1 1/2 hours and get home anytime between 7-9:00. I then have to go to the grocery store and come home and cook dinner. So all in all I don’t feel sorry for Barry.

Being in IT, I've pulled my fair share of late nights and all-nighters. Also two-nighters, all weekenders, and a few all-weekers.
Anyone that thinks they're at their best at 10pm, after working a 12 or 14 hour day, is an idiot. It's one thing to work ridiculous hours if you need to, quite another to do it as a matter of course. As America's CinC, he needs to get some sleep.
Surprised that the Secret Service doesn't push this, at least on the down-low.

I hope he gets enough rest and is working with a clear mind. We don’t need stupid mistakes for the lack of downtime.
It’s idiotic to praise a workaholic simply for the hours committed to the day.

We need to hire some N.Y. private detectives to sniff out all the mucho dirt on these dirt bags at ABC. And they had better be filing AND paying ALL their due taxes! ! !

Obama is still trying to figure out how to swivel his desk chair and open the drawers on the desk. He is up till 10:00 pm every night because he is making little pastie notes of where the entrances and exits are. He has broken a few windows by walking through them in the first week.

Do you blame him, he's just waiting his time until Michelle goes to bed at 10PM.

Wait till the honeymoon is over, 9AM will quickly turn into 11 or 12, with a dry Bubba track suit on in the Oval office to begin the day.
