Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), ranking member of the Senate's Environment & Public Works Committee, had sharp criticism for former Vice President Al Gore's testimony Wednesday before the Foreign Relations Committee.
Gore, a former Tennessee senator and Nobel Peace Prize winner, spoke on the dangers of global warming, urging senators to pursue a treaty to lower carbon emissions at a United Nations conference in Copenhagen in December.
Inhofe called Gore's message "desperate," and noted the irony of it being delivered on such an icy day in D.C. "They almost had to cancel it because of freezing weather, and last year they did cancel it because of cold weather," Inhofe said. "I'd say he has a real serious problem. But he's already made his $100 million, so I don't think he needs to worry too much about it. But the science and logic are on our side, and we are winning."
Inhofe has been in this fight for a long time.
He deserves considerable credit.

Recently, my prayers have become result oriented - though, I still mention a few names and groups.
Pathetic is more like it.
I heard a snippet. He has lost touch with reality as far as this goes. He needs some serious mental therapy.
Is that you Senator? He calls it Junk Science and at the last OK State Convention and the one before that passed out literature as to why it was Junk Science.
We reelected Sen Inhofe to do just what he was doing. His opponent was a Soros sponsored candidate who provided money and campaign people to Andrew Rice who still couldn’t come close.

Gore can never admit to himself that Global Warming is a fraud. If it is a fraud it means that he is gullible and irrelevant. Nothing could be more bitter. So Gore has no choice but to deny the obvious truth.
I’ve said it before but it bears repeating - Inhofe is my hero.

I was saying you sound just like the Senator which is GREAT! I was actually asking if you were him because reading your posts sounds like him when he talks. I have tremendous respect for Senator Inhofe.

Oh, sorry, I must have read your post wrong...
It’s truly funny in an odd sort of way. The Dems were saying that the earth hung in the balance and if we didn’t do something about global warming life as we know it would end in 10 to 15 years. Now that they are in power, stimulating the economy and socializing medicine are more important, and, well, the future of life on the earth will just have to wait. How seriously do they really believe their own hype?
When Gore gets to $200 million, he will parcel out some of his money to supporting climate modelers. Watch their Swiss bank accounts swell.
