Like you say, we may get no Dem votes at all. Keeping ours herded will be tough too. We’ll see.
We have some real wing-nuts in Congress too don’t we. We held them pretty well.
Of course! Conservative economics - Reaganomics, supply-side economics, etc. - works! Keynesian economics has failed.
The Democrats actually know this but have their hoax plan designed to stampede people into buying into socialism. It's a fraud.
We need to get this posted on as many news site comments sections as possible tonight though because the MSM is not going to report it!
Spread it like a virus on the internet!
Attn: Mods. this is a different topic. Why was the final vote thread locked?
Call me pessimistic. The Republican “revolt” is all smoke and mirrors. They know the package will sail through without their votes and they hope they will look good to the conservatives by opposing it.
Look at their spending record in the last 8 years. Now they want us to believe they are fiscally conservative.
I’m not buying it.
With very few exceptions, I don’t trust politicans, no matter how sincere they come accross.
It’s because I’ve heard the same “dog and pony show” for way too many years
not just that, but I don’t believe that Salazar’s replacement has been nominated and the Coleman dispute leaves only 57 Dems, so it will take 3 RINO’s to close debate.
McCain has spoken out in opposition which means Graham will probably oppose it as well. Time to bombard RINOvich, Snowe, and Collins.
Those would be the two to focus on, but they all need a call.
I thought we had resolved all the outstanding Senators by now. Oops.
The vote against the final bill was bi-partisan!!! The vote for it was purely partisan!!! THAT's TELLING!!!
He's shown himself weak to both the Iranian Leader and the Republican Leaders within his first 10 days!!!
Have you called to personally thank each no vote yet???
I think it was just a mistake by the admin moderator. No worries there is another thread up. The old thread shouls probably be linked to the new one though. And you right this was about the alternative bill.
I was thinking more of economic rather than political recovery. Regards,
I think we agree with that. My point is that this bill has very little to do with recovery. It’s one massive pork barrel wet kiss to Democrats.
If I mischaracterized your thoughts, I apologize.
We have Al Gore testying about the CRISES of our warming planet, when the whole world is witnessing people FREEZING to death.
We have the Messiah's presser on Arab TV, testifying to our OUTREACH, while Iran's whack job TAUNTS him.
We have Hillary testifying as to how all the world leaders she's called are finally breathing a sigh of relief, when they are all just begging for us to fight their battles.
We have a porkulus bill passing by HARD LINE LEFTISTS votes when half the gutless part of the Obamanauts are waiting in line with their worthless hands out.
When the whip starts to really come down, this nation IS GONNA FREAKIN' BLOW! ! ! !
And I don't have the time to list all the body blows these Communist MFers have done to this nation and are gonna do.
I'd also say they're stampedin to many folks into too many crises that ain't such and when alla the shoutin and spittin gits ovur wif, ders gonna be hell to pay by these dumasses!!!
The French Revolution is gonna look purdy tame!!! Russia's people are gettin purdy antse with Putin an his gang this soon after they voted his puppet into the pseudo presiduncy becuz uv alla the financial unrest an other proverbial pantloads bein dumped on them.
Cumin soon to a cuntry nir yoo!!!
I think that’s the idea...
Well said....the nine may well been consistently against more spending (which the GOP plan would have pushed) . Any consistent opponent of big government would have opposed BOTH plans.
Why do you call the nine turncoats? They may have opposed BOTH plans because both plans called for bigger government and MORE spending. Heck, they be the only limited government members of the House.
tax cuts don’t always mean immediate jobs...and I guess it depends on where they are as well.
