Lincoln’s position on slavery was secondary to preserving the Union. He was not interested in ending slavery when the shots rang out at Ft Sumter. It was much later when Lincoln faced defeat, depleted supplies, chellenges recruiting soldiers, that he finally capitulated to the Abolitionists and Radical Republicans. He raised large amounts of Bostonian money and recruited 300,000 freed men after the Emancipation Proclamation. The Civil War was NOT about freeing the slaves. It was about Federal control over States Rights, taxing the exports of cotton, and keeping the South a merchantilized colony of the Northern textile industry. It was in the “public’s interest” to control cotton exports from going to higher paying Eurpoean markets.

What abortion is and what it has made us!
1) The unborn infant is alive, is human and therefore it is a human life in its most innocent and defenseless state.
2) The willful taking of innocent human life is murder.
3) Abortion, the willful taking of human life is murder and when done as a late term procedure is savage and very painful to the unborn infant. The ones who perform abortions are merciless savages without a conscience.
4) The 1.2 million abortions a year in the United States is mass murder and no less a crime than the mass murder of the Holocaust.
5) Our tax dollars are used to fund abortions not only in the United
States but under Obama they will be funded worldwide.
6) Those of us against abortion are unwilling accomplices to mass murder.
7) Those of us who voted for Obama knowing his radical stand in favor of abortion are willing accomplices to mass murder.
