This morning, the New York Daily News published my op-ed on President Barack Obama's decision to close Guantanamo and suspend the Military Commissions:
With his shameful order to close Guantanamo Bay, President Obama has perfectly filled the stereotype of the classic clueless ultra-Liberal -- the one who can generate great passion for the rights of the guilty defendant and none for the innocent victim. With a single stroke of the pen, Obama has delayed justice for the victims of 9/11, and in essence granted a reprieve for Al Qaeda mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the architect of 9/11.
America does not honor our "rule of law and the rights of man" as he put in his inauguration speech by such an action. Instead, this nation abdicated its duty to justice.
It seems the new President is too far removed from the victims of 9/11. Victims like 11-year-old Bernard Curtis Brown, a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon. Everyone onboard was killed, as well as [125] people in the Pentagon. Curtis was on a trip with several of his classmates to California sponsored by National Geographic.
Obama and the Democrats have had a blind spot for 9/11 and have yet to show they have an ounce of understanding what happened that day.
Here is why we were attacked: Muslim extremists hate Americans and want us dead. Our policies in no way influenced the vitriol perpetuated on innocent Americans on September 11, 2001. ...

Austria, like the rest of Europe, is free because of America not in spite of it Mr. Austrian. Many of our relatives, including mine, lie in graves on European soil. You would do well to remember that.
You would also do well to remember that Austrians supported Nazi Germany with about a million serving in their armed forces during WW2, 150,000 or so who served in the Waffen SS.
You're entitled to your opinion but your opinion is just like all uniformed opinions, worthless.
International Law, read Geneva Conventions, addresses illegal combatants, read saboteurs, quite clearly. They can be held indefinitely and they can be held incommunicado for the duration of the conflict.
President Bush went a step further and gave them some rights which they never should have gotten. He allowed them to be tired by military tribunals. And if military tribunals were good for me and my brothers in arms they sure as hell are more than terrorists deserve.
America has liberated millions of Europeans, both East and West, and many millions of Muslims living under dictators at least as bad as Austria's old friend Adolph. For that Europeans and Muslims should be thankful. Instead we get lectured by the progeny of those who joined with fascists whole heartedly. You'll understand why some of my friends here at FR take exception to that lecture.
Regards.
I think I love you. =)
**Dealing with useless idiots who think they are oh so intelligent and superior..**
Once, while in Paris, I tried to order dinner, in my very bad FRENCH, and surprise... the waiter pounced on me like only a LIBERAL COULD. He, In very good english, called me every name a good liberal would. I looked at him and said.. your ENGLISH is Very good ... Do you Speak GERMAN as well?? ... He said “NO” ... I stood up looked him Square in the Eyes and I SAID “YOU’re WELCOME!!” .
He Turned 5 different shades of red to purple.. stomped off. Came back with Manager and I got Thrown OUT. Point was Made, I think.
WELL DONE!!!
I like the fact I get to speak English here!!! Just think, if it weren’t for those who thought defending our nation against others who killed on our soil was the right thing to do, we would be speaking German here!!!
**I like the fact I get to speak English here!!!**
I figure there would have been a DEAL ... East of Mississippi would probably be speaking GERMAN... West of it would probably be speaking JAPANESE!!
**Its just too damn bad That One is trying to wreck it all...**
That ONE, by one stroke of a pen showed that he is NOT WORTHY of any time on my part, except... HENCEFORTH, Barky Obama shall be known to and always named by me the new name in my TAG LINE!!!
HAIL, MULLAH HUSSEIN!
I like it......
You wouldn’t mind if I borrowed it if need be, right?
That is unless you already copyrighted it!!!!
That was what the NY Daily News tagged / titled Mike’s op-ed. I know Mike and he was not “chiding” Obama.

OF COURSE WE DIDN’T KNOW! WHY DIDN’T WE KNOW? YOUR NEWS MEDIA REFUSES TO TELL THIS!
Instead of reflecting our love for our country, we get photos of flag burnings, incidents at Abu Ghraib and people throwing things at the presidential motorcades.
Tragically, the lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves three major purposes of the liberal news media:
1. It is intended to undermine the world’s perception of the United States, thus minimizing consequent support.
2. It is intended to discourage American citizens and erode their support for the war.
3. It is intended to help the Socialist Democrat Party gain more power in the next elections.
All the above facts about Iraq are verifiable on the Department of Defense website: http://www.defenselink.mil/
Ive been there and have seen many of these incredible changes in the lives of the people. So has the media, but theyre not talking about anything except body counts and those hateful troops of ours.
