PRESIDENT OBAMA TAKES ON RUSH LIMBAUGH IN NEW MEDIA WAR
WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.
One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.
"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."
That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.

Rush discussed the primaries the other day. He claimed he never endorses in the primaries. I think he would have if he’d really liked anyone. I think he liked Fred, but Fred started too late and got out too early to have a chance.
This “president’ really is a friggin idiot. FOr a harvard educated man, he’s so remarkably inept and so used to getting exactly what he wants that he screwed this one up by a country mile.
Limbaugh is going to get another 500,000 quarter hours on Monday just because the messiah challenged him. O-Vomit is so intellectually outclassed by Limbaugh it’s absurd. The dummy just gave Limbaugh publiscity that money cannot buy.

Yeah, you now he doesn’t get that this is insulting. Maybe people come to their conservative values by their own rational thought and experience. I for one don’t even listen to Rush very often, but I find that when I do I agree with him a lot. It’s just nice to hear someone validating what I already know. Obama is piece of crap and he needs to stop listening to MSNBC.NYT.WAPO.LATIMES, ETC.

Now, if you've been paying attention, Rush Limbaugh is now in the sights for this same tactic which is right out of the Saul Alinsky revolutionary commie handbook.
Notice how the bubblehead hosts and anchors on the TV shows are now tossing Rush's name out in ever-increasing numbers. This is orchestrated, not spontaneous, though it may appear so.
Remember, everything is exquisitely planned now by the Left, the Left's money backers and the Obama administration's shadowy operatives.

Boy, this really shows how silly this guy Obama really is. Telling Republican politicians to quit listening to Rush? What a silly idea. Doesn’t he know that Republican politicians haven’t been listening to Rush for several years now. Why should they? Nothing to be gained from that. Listen to Pelosi and Reid. That’s where the real bucks are. Do as they say and be satisfied with whatever scraps fall off the table. What a lovely life it is not having to listen to your constituents and following the lead of the enlightened Democrats.
Obama just hasn’t gotten the memo - the Secret Service is busy upgrading his Blackberry and he’s a little out of touch. Not to worry, our Republican leaders will sell us out without any intervention on our parts. All we need to do is to pay the bills.

Plus, how wise is it to get into it with the opposition this early in the game?
On the other hand, he's going to make Lindsey Graham and McCain want to make little speeches about how "we should rise above partisan bickering" and "let's not be moved by a talk show host."
I can't believe a president made such a petty move. It sure says something about his insecurity.
