"God is the one who calls you to the battle," Metaxas said to the crowd, an eclectic mix that included families with baby strollers and protesters waving signs and abortion- photo posters. They came to mourn the 36th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade decision, which legalized abortion, and to be inspired to fight for the idea that the unborn are persons with an inalienable right to life.

Just clarifying here, slavery has yet to be resolved too.

Right, I was driving down the road just the other day and they were out in the fields picking cotton. You know that we all have slaves in our basements. We have always had them. But, the real slaves are those idiots who suck the government free milk each month. Those are the slaves. They are slaves to the Marxist party and the Marxist party's free stuff. Those are today's REAL slaves. Government free stuff slaves.
Much worse. Slavery has been called the "peculiar institution" because slaves carried greater cost than sweatshop labor. But how "peculiar" is it to slaughter ones own posterity in the womb?
It is a sad thing that liberals think nothing of life..Just suck them out of the mother and go on with your day..One thing that they must not realize is for ever liberal that has an abortion that is one less liberal that will vote in the future..What a pathetic bunch of trash they are..God will take care of them in the end..He will also take care of the doctors that do these surgeries and the minister that voted the liberals into office..and told their people to vote for them..That will be the day of atonement to see if these so called ministers of God will get a pardon..

There’s no way there were only 400.
And from the the US or in Iraq, the Democrats are the party ready and willing to look the other way in the face of slavery. So why shouldn’t they be comfortable with abortion.

Well, they are very similar if you look at how the Supreme Court initiated both struggles by creating a legal fiction that something that was clearly human, not animal, mineral, or plant, really wasn’t human.
From that viewpoint, the Court clearly declared that neither slaves or fetuses were human. We should be very careful who we let the Court declare as legal to kill.
We have a Supreme Court case that said the unborn/blacks are not fully human and therefore do not possess any (God-given) rights.
We have had decades of religious and legislative efforts to restrict and curtail abortion/slavery.
The issue is a heart a moral one. What will our people allow? What do we believe?
We have had violent attacks on those who perform abortions/own slaves.
Our country has divided into two camps THAT CANNOT BE RECONCILED, because of the very nature of the dispute.
Finally, like the other decadence afflicting our nation, this issue will not be solved by the ballot box.
One more similarity:
The Democrats support abortion/slavery; Republicans wish to outlaw it!
