I saw this yesterday and Ann was fantastic!
My only gripe was she let little Scotty McClellan off the hook way too easily. Has that guy ever been married? Because he sets off the old gaydar bigtime.
But has usual, Ann did body-slam Alan Colmes.
And btw, that audience must have been full of FReepers too. All her points were applauded loudly. Colmes? Not so much. Actually, not at all.

Most college republicans that I have met are pretty hardcore conservatives.
They do things like invite Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, David Horowitz and other Conservative speakers to speak on their respective campuses, even UC Berkeley. Yes, there are Conservative Republicans (pretty much an oxymoran these days...) at UCB!

I was raised by a single father and I am not a hooker, stripper or anything of the sorts. I have two older sisters also. We are all married and have children. It makes me sick to my stomach that someone could say that about devoicedchildren. I wanted to punch her in her mouth.
I do not like to be put into groups like that. What will she say next. Will she say I am trailer trash? Yes I live in a trailer and I am proud of it.
Yes I had a single parent and I am proud of that. My mother is a loser.

I totally agree with Anne Coultier’s point.She has a colorful way of saying it. But what she is ultimately saying is that we have a culture that promotes single motherhood and she’s right.
We live in a culture that promotes promiscuity at an early age. These girls end up pregnant which results in single motherhood or even worse abortion. Very few unfortunately choose adoption as an alternative for their babies.
I personally can say that all of my female friends ended up as single mothers and 50% of my female family members are single mothers. Some eventually married, others remained single, while others married but ended up divorced, resulting again in single motherhood.
It is an epidemic!
Our culture promotes selfishness, not family! I don’t blame just the women. Men play a large role in this selfish mentality that permeates our culture.
I have a family member who has 5 children from different fathers. The first 3 she doesn’t even know who the fathers are. The last two fathers have fled the scene, they didn’t want to be fathers. I believe this is pretty typical of what happens all over our country.
Single motherhood is a serious problem and it should be discussed and tackled.

Yep, people like Tammy Rupp always miss the larger point and take it personally by relating it to their experiences. Happens on FR a lot too. All of Dr. Phil’s guests to counter Ann, will be in the Tammy Rupp mode—emotional and offended.

BTW, is anybody ELSE having trouble playing the videos on popmodal.com?That site is BLOCKED by many corporate firewalls, since it has "streaming video" -- which CAN be a distraction at work, but what about the REST of you?
Are you able to watch the WHOLE video posted on popmodal -- in this case, all ten minutes?
I can watch the whole video, but it stops several times to buffer.
I tried putting it on “pause” because sometimes videos will completely load after a few minutes then they can be watched with out any more buffering. It didn’t seem to work that way though.
I would like to see Dr Phil have Ann on a full show about single mothers...!!
