It’s 60% yes, 40% no
No.
Let ‘em try surfing.
The very fact that it’s controversial tells me that it’s not torture. You wouldn’t get anything like a 60/40 split on fingernail pulling, electric shock, burning with cigarettes, or physical beatings.
How do I vote? There’s no way to vote at this site.
agreed,no. hung by your arms that are roped up behind your back, s.l.o.w.l.y lowered into a vat of acid feet first is torture.
Having an endless stream of Hussein pics and ass-kissing propaganda by the MSM is TORTURE enough.
Sawing heads off with dull machetes is torture..... (ie Pearl).
Wet washcloth on face is not torture.

Yes it is torture. And what’s wrong with torture?

True.. They don’t come near to death and it doesn’t injure them. It’s a mind/body reflex that they are drowning.. GOOD! SCARE THE INFO OUT OF THEM!
Nothing, so long as I'm the one doing the torturing.
Ron Paul is torture. Waterboarding him would be OK.
It most certainly IS torture....and I have no problem with it whatsoever.
Is being trapped on the upper floors of TWTC on 9-11-01 “torture?
Is jumping out of TWTC to one’s death “torture”?
Is enduring 4 years of Michelle Obama “torture”?
I figure torture is anything that is used to force you into doing something you would rather not do. So is waterboarding torture? Of course. But is it a good kind of torture? You bet it is. No physical scars - just a surefire way to get needed info from the bad guys.
I think we need to use it on occasion. It would seem that torture exists in varying degrees. Some of the considerations would be permanent damage, amount of pain or discomfort, length of the torture, period of recovery, offering or not offering medical attention, physical or psychological.
It would seem that all of these factors would be considered and that we should have a range of tortures available for the situation and the resistance of the person being tortured.
I can't wait for the first death caused because we pussfooted around a suspect who wouldn't talk and people died.
I am sure people have died already. I can't understand why water boarding shouldn't be used. I am for torture. In fact I could come up with quite a few ways to make terrorists talk & none of them would be as nice as water boarding. And I wouldn't feel any guilt over them either. I don't feel we can deal sanely with a bunch of kooks who are willing to be jihadists. I also believe if they can behead then all is fair in war. You behead Americans then we toss you into a pen of hungry pigs or you talk asap.
