nope ... i believe it was $29 ... don't know if it will work with phones other than motorola. connects via usb port.

in additon to ring tone maker it also allows you to backup, edit, and update your phonebook entries from the pc.

another big plus is that it lets you send text message using your pc keyboard rather than thumbs on the cell.

Thanks! I will look into the software, but as far as texts, you can do this for free on AT&T by just sending an email to 10digitphonenumber@txt.att.net. You can also send pics by attaching the pic to the email, make sure the email format is plain text versus HTML and then sending it to 10digitphonenumber@mms.att.net. I believe other networks like verizon can do similar things but with different email extensions.
