Speaking of the dignity of the office:Reagan was silent on Carter, GWB didn't comment on Clinton.

Obama shows class - that of a third world banana republic socialist or a network news reporter! Dignity not - disgust yes!

It’s going to be a very long, very disgusting four years.

Of course, the “President” might well try to force the “Speaker” to take some policy action she firmly does not want. Now, that would be an interesting spectacle and might well shorten our national pain.

The catch phrase of “hope and change” is going to be replaced with “the failed policies of George W. Bush”. Watch for it on cans of Pepsi.

When leadership in this country started being replaced by the boomers from the WW2 crowd, I thought we were in decline. Now that the boomers are being replaced by the genXers and post moderns, I know we are in decline. :(

Homeboy is already in office. He doesn’t need to sell his campaign anymore.

I’m sure he’s doing this because he knows his f***-ups are inevitable and he’s trying to convey the message: “Hey, I’m still not as bad as Bush, remember?!”

He’s a classless turd.

He bashed Bush at his inaugural speech, with the Bush family sitting there? Maybe having to be in the presence of the good gracious people he was unfairly trashing, was why he speeded through his drivel not even waiting for the applause

Has a newly inaugurated President ever done that? (at least in modern times) Did Reagan gloat at Jimmy Carter knowing that the hostages in Iran had been set free at the very minute of his inauguration?

When Bush took over the Dems acted like kids by taking things and doing things to keyboards

Bush hands over with a perfect handover, he showed class as did his wife

Phony comes in and attacks Bush for the last 8 years, then repeats his we have to come together.
Now on his second day all I hear is Dems complaining about Bush

Well during Bush I bought my house and paid it off, I have 3 cars all paid off I have no debt and my taxes are low
He kept us safe for all these years by doing what the Dems moan about.

Why do I feel that under phony my life is threatened my taxes will go up and we are going to be much worse off?

The cities which voted for him are the first targets how ironic.

Thankfully I am not near there at all

What... these guys won, can’t they stay focused on their message.

It will eventually make them look incompetent to manage change by keeping a spotlight on the past instead of focusing on the future.

Sales 101: never mention the competition by name, always remind the customer of the expected outcome.

If you read the article concerning “Faith”, he now wants to control how we talk about “Faith”. I always figured that this is our responsibility, not the governments.

Civility in the Oval Office started going rapidly downhill when Bubba was first elected. The Bushes showed some class, but it looks like the pendulum has swung back the other way again.

This is the new “tone” Zero promised which is simply the old “tone”. There will be no greater transparency nor will their be anything close to self examination or acceptance of responsibility. Zero and the Dems do not takes criticism well as they are rarely if ever called to task for their mistakes. George Bush will be used as a whipping boy for this entire administration and our supposed press watchdogs will either be too racially scared to say anything or will simply use their offices as pro-Zero propaganda centers.

And the Republicans? It looks like a return to the days of Bob Michel where a good Republican was a quiet and subservient Republican. When all Boehner can say when faced with a trillion dollar spending plan is “Wow”, you know we are screwed.

It is going to be a very long and frustrating four years. God willing, our country may be able to survive it.

That just f**cking makes me sick. So, it appears they’re turning the wheels and getting the groundwork laid for some future show trials of the previous administration. After all, that’s how communists have done it in the past.

So what’s new. We already know Obama and his crowd are a bunch of mindless pigs. With all due apologies to the four-legged brand of pigs.
