Why I Want Barack Obama To Fail As President
Red State ^ | 21 Jan 09 | Warner Todd Huston

Now we arrive at where I stand on Obama’s relative “success.” I did not vote for the man. I do not support his socialist ideas. I stand four-square against his votes for infanticide, his votes to gut the Constitutional right to self-protection, his vague ideas of nationalizing various industries, his intention to enlarge government to unheard of proportions and his softening on terror producing countries. And since these are the things his entire life’s career point to as probable goals to “succeed” upon during his presidency… well, I want him to fail. And I want him to do so spectacularly. If Barack Obama is but a Trojan Horse for communism to push its nose under and into the tent, I want him to fail in the attempt.

Simply put I want these ideas to fail miserably because success for them would mean the destruction of this country. So, wishing Obama to succeed would be hoping for the destruction of my country if success means the accomplishments of goals like I mention above.

It's OK to want him to fail in those with which one does not agree.

I don't want him to fail us in the defense of allies and our own safety, but nobody said we had to agree to his agenda.

We are free to fight and crow opposition to his political agenda all we want to.

If he does too many things that disgust us and the people, he could be recalled as well.

I have no doubt he will fail, and fail big time - my concern is for the saftey and welfare of this country, which will suffer for the Messiah’s arrogance and stupidity.

I want him to fail as a liberal, but I want him to succeed in changing. I want the country to succeed, be that if Obama fails or succeeds will be a decision by decision basis. He is not worth expending emotional energy to hate everything he does, even if he makes the correct choice at times.

I want him to succeed only in ways that help America. That’s it, everything else, I hope he falls on his face.

Given the incredible, near disasterous problems obammer has “inherited” from the former administrations, it’s a wonder why he or anyone would want the job.

Economically and socially it does but we don’t know what he plans for defense. Hopefully he won’t fail and neither do people want him to fail there.

I've seen people even on this forum say "give him a chance" or "he must succeed for the good of the Country". I disagree. If he is even the least bit successful, this Country will be headed for a fall. Failing to object or protest makes one a collaborator in his scheme. I pray that he is a miserable failure. The Country may suffer, but that would be better than the if he is successful.

Unfortunately, I'm beginning to wonder if there is ANYONE in Washington willing to stand up for America. I'm doubting the SCOTUS, who has allowed a Kenyan Usurper to seize power, and I certainly don't expect anything from Congress. Cornyn is the only one I've seen with ANY backbone!

A premature draw-down of troops doesn’t seem like a plan for success...hopefully he’s modified his stance since getting in on the security breifings!

To us it will be failure but my fear is that to the MAJORITY it will be viewed as success. I watched yesterday and felt so fearful for the future of this country. The crowd appeared to want to “touch the hem of his garment” as though he would bring healing to their lives. It honestly scares me . . . .

I don’t want him to fail; I want him to succeed. Like it or not, he is now our President. Naturally, it’s my opinion that in order to succeed, he’ll have to make some serious changes on his policy beliefs, so I’m skeptical, but that’s the ideal. Also, as long as the liberals are running everything, I’d love to find out that I’ve been wrong all these years and they fix everything. However, obviously I don’t believe this to be the case, and history would agree with me.

He has NO plan, he is the puppet of the “Team” he has put together. He will take their positions, because he has none to call his own.

“why i want obama to fail as president”

i want obama to succeed in initiating policies that will keep liberal/communist/socialist punks out of power for at least ten generations.
