For two years there has been no need to listen to an Obama speech.
If you want to know what he really said, meant to say, wished he had said, or said between the lines, just wait a few seconds for the media to de-cypher it.
Time ought to pack it in. If they think they’re going to get rich over Obamamania, they’re kidding themselves.
Oh yeah, sure he doesn’t openly admit to being a crook,
but an analysis of his acts removing the white liberal media filter,
shows he is brazen.
After all,
He is the black guy who upon getting elected to the Senate enters a corrupt land deal with a white guy under investigation for defrauding black people by taking government set aside contracts. He knew that.
Thanks Shermy. I appreciate the response.
“that is a big mistake.”
His first book is interesting. I only breezed through his “Audacity of Hope”
“You also mentioned him rising to something like a crime figure in his own words. Was that part in there too?”
I clarified in another comment above that in that regard he doesn’t admit that, but it shows in his brazen actions,
But I remember he has made some iffy comments about the movie “The Godfather”, and on the other hand, invoked Elliot Ness, but maybe you have to do that in Chicago.
If there is a theme to his life, it is abandonment.
I’ll add,
that being “somber” may have an immediate political agenda,
to sell more bailouts and “stimulus.”
Upbeat doesn’t sell bailout and stimulus,
George Bush proved that.
He talked for years about not “talking down the economy”
but he was the worst abuser,
in the end.
“he is brazen”
After losing a run for congress, Barry ran for the senate and had his operatives look into the divorce files of his primary and general opponents in order to smear them, fully supported by the MSM. They tried to pull the same dirty politics with Sarah Palin, unsuccessfully.
But try and determine if Obama is actually qualified for the WH (why the nerve of some people!) and for some reason there’s dead silence, or ridicule. Even here. Maybe that’s a reason we’re stuck at 29% in donations.
I plan to pay to The One the same deference and respect that Democrats—including Obama—paid to President Bush for 8 years. (With all due respect and deference, of course, to the “let’s not get hasty/why, that’s beneath us” crowd here.)
Since we don’t have television, movies/Hollywood, magazines, etc., and since one of the first things this crew of socialists will try to do is reinstate the `Fairness Doctrine’ (only to radio and the internet, since they insist on free speech only when out of office) the least we can do is recognize that it is past time to separate the GOP sheep from the conservative goats.
Let’s switch to offense, today, and point out the “victims” to ourselves and the country for what they really are—guilty, and while there’s still time. (catching breath, rant over)
>>Man, are we in for a long 4 or 8 years.<<
Naw. Just a long six months to two years.
Joe Biden going to make sure Patrick Fitzgerald is not fired or obstructed??
Oh puke. The excerpt was all I could stomach.....
He’s facing the same things that Bush has faced for the last several months.
More juvenile dribble from one of Obama’s first-tier cheerleaders in the mainstream media.
Credibility rating: zero.
Thanks for the additional comments Shermy. You make some interesting points there, and they make sense to me.
TIME: Obama’s speech was very important and very good. It wasn’t at all an empty, pointless recital of slogans.
Let’s just nip those thoughts in the bud right now.
