I resolved Friday not to turn on the television, except to watch DVDs...so far I have kept that vow.
The real problem will be tomorrow...I know many of the places I have to go for work will have teary-eyed pod people gathered around computers and television sets to watch The One get coronated. Guess the Ipod will have to come out...
The cold stares I can deal with. I’ve had to do so for the past 8 years.
I will NOT be watching. I didn’t watch any of the others because I’ve not been interested. In this particular case, I’m interested in making sure to miss it. Who wants to see a marxist installed as president?

I have decided to neglect my civic duty and give myself the completely selfish and much more appealing one-handed-while-looking-in-the-side-view-mirror-of-my Yugo-while-driving-in-reverse-down-a-boulder-strewn-washout-in-the-dark-on-a-perfectly-healthy-bicuspid-using-a-shard-of-broken-glass-and-an-awl-while-listening-to-Groan-Bi-ezz’s-greatest-hits-on-the-8-track-root-canal-without-anesthesia.

Unless my building hooks up a TV in the crapper, I ain’t watching.
I’m sure that I won’t be able to avoid the re-runs on TV later in the evening, but I want to be able to tell the grandkids that I was either vomiting or taking a crap as the scumbag was taking the oath.

No, hell NO! My television black out began Saturday and ends Thursday, maybe. I refuse to watch the gloating face of little Adolph as he gets permission to take over my country.
That would be me also. I can’t support anyone who supports infantacide.

I sure as hell will be watching it. But first, since it is my day off, I am going to a liquor store. I already told the wife.
And I don’t drink.
I will be at working toiling for money so Obama can take it away. Planning a commode visit at the magical time though.
I have much more important things to do....like....uh....cogitate my naval, wonder why there is air, try to find out where all the robins went, and ruminate on why I have flat feet and some folks that sit near me at work say that they don't.
So...I'm just not going to have time to view the sickening event.
I think I have to milk the pigs or some other useless activity... anything not to see the fake one on television.
Mow the lawn (first shovel off the snow).
Change the air in truck’s tires (last years air).
Think about doing the above.
