So, who was Rush supposed to focus on?

I understand your point. Maybe the answer is not who, but what. When Rush made fun of Michael J. Fox’s movements during his testimony to Congress, he could have just gone after the issue without attacking the man.
Just curious - did Rush go after the “The Republicans are going to make all birth control illegal!!!!!!” meme? This issue will rear its ugly head again in 2012 because it was effective so I hope Rush will cover it. It’s why 70% of single women voted for Obama. That and they wanted world peace. :)

(Thanks, Mark Levin, for being there. You're a lifesaver.)

You'd generally be more believable in other things you say if you weren't recycling other people's mischaracterizations as fact. It was Michael J. Fox who said that before testimony or public appearances he would forego his medication in order to make his Parkinsons tremors more extreme. Someone like this deserves to be called on it. That's not "making fun" of him, simply drawing attention to his deliberate exploitation of his medical condition for partisan political purposes.

The man was the enemy. He had to be trashed. You lie you die.

With a handle like 'Java Jumpy', you're going after Rush "making run" of Michael J. Fox.
Get your head out of the MSM's butt. Rush wasn't "making fun", he was demonstrating Fox's movements and he pointed out how Michael J. Fox comes off his medications BEFORE he testifies to Congress to make his OWN movements more exaggerated.
I think the handle 'Java Jumpy' makes fun of people with Parkinson's. What do you say to that?
