The "grasping at straws" approach of this empty administration-to-be is getting worse. Renewable energy? Millions of jobs? What technology? Is it cheaper? Better? Plentiful? Readily available? Able to replace fossil fuels?
Of course, this thinly-veiled attempt at grabbing more bail-out money for both quid pro quo to unions and other campaign and socialistic "causes" just gets worse. It really is pandering to the hand-wringing, believe-anything liberal voting base. I really think we have not seen anything yet, as to what this "mob" will come up with in the way of excuses to steal and print more money.
You can really tell just how EXCITED the GDP-building, tax-paying public is about this administration and what it has to say --- just look at the Dow Jones averages and bank behaviors ----

I have a feeling the economy is going to in tough times for a while. Now it’s up to the GOP to turn around and do something with it and offer real solutions, instead of just cowering.

Their centrally planned government economy is gonna crash sooner than they think. They don’t have enough martyrs willing to sacrifice for their cause.
I certainly will not participate in the destruction of individual liberty and economic freedom.

"Renewable energy isn't something pie in the sky. It's not part of a far-off future. It's happening all across America right now,"
Who among GOP leadership is challenging this pile of crap?

He's not grasping at straws.
Saul Alinsky laid out how to get radical change, and the easiest way is to have your target audience ask for change.
We have now a barrage of media reports about how unbelievably bad things are, and guess what, here comes someone with a plan! A plan to save us all! Don't look to see what the plan actually is, it's change, and change will save us all!
The plan will, I suspect, involve more centralized government control over energy sources plus a hefty socialized “subsidy” to keep it all running. Oh, and sacrifice, for (most) all of us in the way of conservation, maybe even towns cutting stretlights off at night, higher electric rates, thermostat rules, and the like.
Go check out “Reveille for Radicals” and Rules for Radicals” from Alinsky, and some of the spin-off books.

Heard a story on Quinn & Rose about some school buses that used ethanol spiked gas were unable to be started, because the ethanol turned to jelly due to the coldness.

. . . saying Friday his plan would make smart investments in the country's future and create solid jobs in up-and-coming industries. So some Lefty community activist who never ran anything except his mouth assumes he is qualified to run all industries. God help us.

Most of the general populace that have bought into the public school and university indoctrinations have no idea what is coming in the form of government control w/ accompanying loss of income and buying power.
